Story
Hi there - I’m Tyson! I may look tough with my big Bulldog smile and squishable jowlies (go ahead, I know you want to smush them!), but underneath it all, I’m a total sweetheart! I came to the shelter as a stray a while back, and somehow, I’ve ended up being one of the “long-term residents.” I don’t really get it! I’ve got two different-colored eyes, a heart full of love, and a personality that’s ready to make you laugh every single day! I’ll admit, I don’t always make the best first impression when I’m in my kennel. It’s just a little overwhelming in there, and I get excited when people walk by! But once you take me outside, you’ll see the real me — the goofy, playful, snuggle-loving Tyson who just wants to hang out, chase a ball, and get belly rubs! I get along well with respectful kiddos and mellow dog friends, and I’m happiest when I’m part of the action, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, a movie night on the couch, or a good old-fashioned play session. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, one-of-a-kind companion, come meet me outside my kennel. I promise you’ll fall in love! Story
3 years old (estimated) Spayed female Seems interested in other dogs Has done well with cats in a foster home Has done well with children in a foster home Tortilla is a cuddly, gentle girl who loves being close to her people and happily claims the title of giant lap dog. She enjoys long walks, playing fetch, and showing off her goofy keep-away skills. Her favorite enrichment is diving into her destruction boxes to uncover treats and treasures. The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.December 10, 2025, 10:34 am

Story
Hello! My name`s Putter from the golf litter! I was adopted as a puppy and returned to the shelter at 6 years old in May 2023 when my humans had a baby. I`m looking for a nice cozy home to retire in! I am an American Bulldog/Retriever mix weighing around 62lbs. I am a sweet, smart dog who is considered medium/low energy. My favorite things include cuddling, car rides, walks, and playtime! Everyone tells me that I`m the goofiest dog in the rescue and everyone adores my play growl, play hops, and play bows! I`m also told that I walk fantastic on a leash and have wonderful manners where I don`t pull. I know to do my business outside and will even sit by the door to alert my owners that I need to go. I don`t mind the crate and I can be trusted outside of the crate as well. I don`t chew up stuff I`m not supposed to either! I also know basic commands such as sit, paw, other paw, lay down, and roll over!I’ve been working on my socializing skills & can do good around kids in public, but I’d prefer my forever home with older or no kids since their rambunctious energy can still make me nervous. I also wasn`t properly socialized with other dogs growing up so I need to go to a home where I`m the only pet. No cats for me.You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $300All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an online application at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Additional details about who we are, what we do and how to adopt can be found on our website. Scooby enjoys short walks, soft beds, tasty treats, and spending time with his people. He’s a happy, easygoing guy who’s just thrilled to be part of a loving home again. He’s respectful, calm, and has settled beautifully into home life. He’s believed to be potty trained, keeps his space clean, and has shown no signs of being destructive. Scooby’s gentle nature and soulful eyes win everyone over instantly. While he’s content to nap the day away, he still has bursts of energy and playful moments that remind you just how much life and love he has left to give. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but with slow introductions, he’d likely do fine. He’s thriving with his foster family, getting along great with the other dogs, and starting to feel completely at home. Remy is also working on all the puppy basics, including potty training, crate training, and leash manners. From a rough start to a second chance, Remy is ready to shine. He’s part of the Ratties litter — Miss Brisby (F), Templeton (M), Professor Ratigan (M), Rizzo (F), and Remy (M) — who came into a Georgia kill shelter after being surrendered by a backyard breeder. Heartbreakingly, this was the second litter from the same people in less than a year. At just 6–7 weeks old (as of 11/5), Remy arrived skinny, malnourished, and underweight, but he’s thriving now and his sweet, playful personality is shining through.
