Scooby made it safely to Wisconsin and is loving life in his foster home! This gentle senior may have reached his golden years, but don’t let that fool you — he’s still got plenty of spunk and joy left to share. Scooby enjoys short walks, soft beds, tasty treats, and spending time with his people. He’s a happy, easygoing guy who’s just thrilled to be part of a loving home again. At around 11 years old and weighing about 78 lbs, Scooby is best guessed to be a Boxer mix. He’s well-mannered, affectionate, and great with other dogs. He’s respectful, calm, and has settled beautifully into home life. He’s believed to be potty trained, keeps his space clean, and has shown no signs of being destructive. Scooby’s gentle nature and soulful eyes win everyone over instantly. While he’s content to nap the day away, he still has bursts of energy and playful moments that remind you just how much life and love he has left to give. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but with slow introductions, he’d likely do fine. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Professor Ratigan — The Ratties Litter Professor Ratigan made it safely to Wisconsin on 11/15 and is doing wonderfully in his foster home! He’s settling in nicely, getting along great with the other dogs, and starting to feel completely at home. Ratigan is also working on all the puppy basics, including potty training, crate training, and leash manners. From a rough start to a second chance, Ratigan is ready to shine. He’s part of the Ratties litter — Miss Brisby (F), Templeton (M), Professor Ratigan (M), Rizzo (F), and Remy (M) — who came into a Georgia kill shelter after being surrendered by a backyard breeder. Heartbreakingly, this was the second litter from the same people in less than a year. At just 6–7 weeks old (as of 11/5), Ratigan arrived skinny, malnourished, and underweight, but he’s thriving now and his sweet, playful personality is shining through. He’s curious, cuddly, and ready for a loving forever home. Age: 6–7 weeks (as of 11/5) Gender: Male Weight: 5–7 lbs Breed: Boxer/Bully mix Spayed/Neutered: Not yet Potty Trained: In progress Crate Trained: In progress Leash Manners: In progress Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes From His Foster: Let me tell you about little Professor! He is SUCH a special boy. Every single person who has met him is amazed by his sweet, calm & gentle demeanor. He welcomes snuggles from all people, big and small, and playtime with all dogs! He sleeps soundly in the crate all night and also does well in it intermittently throughout the day. He is making very good progress with potty training—following the lead of our other dogs, even though he is not a fan of this cold. One of the things we love best about him is that he enjoys playing with our dogs, but he is also content entertaining himself with his toys. His blue eyes are so beautiful! He is just a super sweet, happy little soul! Professor Ratigan is ready for the next step in his journey — a family who will give him love, guidance, and the happy home he deserves.
