Story
Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Mimi Mimi’s story is one of resilience and second chances. This 3-year-old pit bull terrier mix has been through far more than she ever deserved and is now ready for a new beginning filled with love and stability. Mimi was found as a stray by a local mail carrier, wearing a collar with a rabies tag. After efforts were made to locate her owner, it was discovered that he no longer wanted her. The shelter believes she may have been dumped after having a litter of puppies. Despite this heartbreaking start, Mimi has remained incredibly gentle, quiet, and loving. Shelter staff could not say enough good things about her. She is described as calm, affectionate, and extremely easy to care for, making her a wonderful choice for a first-time dog owner. From her foster: Mimi is a medium-energy girl who loves to play! She enjoys rough-and-tumble playtime with her foster sister and tends to play on the more enthusiastic side. Because of this, she would do best with another dog who enjoys that same playful style. If she is the only dog in the home, she would thrive with someone committed to giving her daily walks or trips to the dog park to help her burn off energy. Mimi is currently working on her leash manners. She can be a bit of a puller, but she is making steady progress with a harness and continued practice. She enjoys chewing on hard toys and bones and settles nicely after playtime. While she has a playful side, Mimi’s favorite place to be is cuddled up on the couch with her person. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves quiet companionship. She truly is a brindle lovebug who just wants to be close to her people. Mimi is dog friendly and kid friendly, but she does have a bit of prey drive and would not do well in a home with cats. She did really well at our last meet and greet and handled all the other dogs and the chaos very well. She is not leash reactive and did awesome meeting lots of other people and dogs. Age: 3 years Gender: Female Weight: 40 lbs Breed: Pit bull terrier mix Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Improving Good with Dogs: Yes (best with playful dogs) Good with Cats: NO Good with Kids: Yes Mimi has already shown so much heart and resilience. She deserves a safe, loving home and the chance to finally relax and be someone’s cherished companion.
