Story
Hello! My name's Putter and I'm ready to be your new best friend! I am an American Bulldog/Retriever mix weighing around 70 lbs. They tell me I am a sweet, smart dog who is considered medium energy. My favorite things include cuddling, car rides, and long walks! I would prefer a home with no kids and could do well with the right dog or cat who can respect my space. I love to play fetch, but sometimes I don't understand that I have to drop the ball to keep playing! . I know basic commands like sit, down, paw and I walk pretty well on a leash. I'm slow to warm up but once I know you, you'll have all my love forever! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $375All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response. JR's Pups-N-Stuff Dog Sellers License 522614-DS

Story
Meet Frosty! Oh! Hello, my name is Frosty. You can't sneak up on me like that, I'm deaf and can't hear you coming. If you just stomp your foot a little, then I can feel the vibrations. You could also be really gentle when waking me, or if I'm awake, you could wave your hand to make sure I see you. I'm a super good boy, and I must have been loved at one point because I'm a well trained gentleman. I go potty outside, I do very well with humans 13 and up. No little humans please! I haven't met any cats, and I'm selective about my dog friends and would rather be able to show you all of my love without others interfering, so I would do best as your one and only. Now that I'm a 70-pound senior, I'm looking to be loved by humans who will want me forever! I really enjoy cozy, warm places to nap and will even wear a sweater to help me stay warm in the cold temps. Boy, no one told me it was going to be so cold in Wisconsin! I love to go on sniffari walks and play a little with my stuffies inside the house. But the thing I love the most is getting to spend time with my people. Snuggles on the couch or in the big bed, butt scratchies and getting pets are some of my all-time favorite things. Foster mom says I have the best personality and can be quite a goof from time to time. She says I've been the best house guest, and anyone would be lucky to have me in their home! I don't need to be in a crate while you're away because I don't chew on things that aren't mine, and I'd do awesome going anywhere you'd like to take me. All in all, I'm a pretty well-rounded guy just looking for someone who needs a loving companion to make their days brighter! I sure hope that's you! *Frosty has a neuter appointment scheduled for Jan 30, and can go to his forever home after that. *Frosty is being fostered in Plover, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Story
2 months old Female (will be spayed 5/9) Puppy classes strongly recommended Looking for a home with the time and patience to raise and train a puppy starting from square one! We are currently staying in a foster home and will be ready to be officially adopted after our spay/neuter surgeries on May 9th. If you'd like to meet us, please fill out an application. Applications are processed in the order of submission and you will be contacted to schedule a meeting once your application processing is complete. We will be popular, so please be patient as it may take longer than normal to get through the applications. I'm an adorable baby whose litter was born and raised in foster, and now we're ready to strike out on our own! Our mom is a sweet 45 lbs. Bulldog-type, but no one knows who our dad was, so we’re a bit of a mystery! We’re already all around 10 lbs., so we’re likely to be medium to large-sized pups. Having lived in foster homes all of our lives, we’re well-socialized pups who are off to a great start, but we need loving, patient, and dedicated adopters to teach us all about living in a home and being a well-mannered companion. We’re blank slates that will need to be taught everything from basic skills like potty training and leash walking to commands like “stay,” “come,” and “sit.” Puppy classes are strongly recommended not only to help us learn the basics but also to help build a strong bond with our families and to continue our socialization. If you’ve got the time and energy it takes to raise an adorable puppy from square one, adopt me and let's start our journey together! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.  May 3, 2024, 12:55 pm

Story
My name is Vinnie and I’m 70 pounds of pure love. I love snuggling my foster parents and mom says I’m a bed hog, whatever that is! My favorite activity is going for car rides; I'm an excellent co-pilot and give great directions to the treat store. Since I'm only 4 yrs old, I would love someone who would commit to continuing with my training. I'm an A+ student but since I get very excited around other dogs, I would prefer to be the only dog in the house and have all the lovin's for myself. I know sit, ask to go out for potties, and am working on my leash manners, but I am still fresh out of the shelter, so this is all new to me. My foster mom says it's probably best if I don't live with kiddos under the age of 12 or kitties because I don't know my own size. I dont get it, 70lbs is a perfect size lap dog! Most importantly, I need a forever family to hold my big, squishy face and get lots of kisses. I sure hope I can find you guys soon. XOXO Vinnie

Story
Peppermint Patty is a 2 year old mixed breed who couldn’t possibly be sweeter. She came to Wisconsin in December filled to the brim with puppies & gave birth to eight perfect Peanuts in her foster home in January. After some much-needed relaxation & rest from being the best mama, she is ready to find her family! She’s about 40lb, is crate trained, & is doing very well with potty training when kept on a schedule. Peppermint is very food-motivated & eager to please, so continued training should be a breeze. She gets along great with other dogs & kids. Cats are unknown, but it’s assumed she’ll do just fine.Get your application in to learn more about her!DATCP#483538
