    Hi, I’m Ellie, a happy go lucky 9 year old girl that loves life and craves human companionship.  I am a 62 pound strawberry blond German Shepherd/Eskimo Dog mix - a fluffy fur-ball of excitement ‘cause I never know what’s gonna’ happen next ‘round the yard or on our walks; everything is an adventure!  I like getting my energy out chasing balls, bugs, lizards, and squirrels (cats beware!).  I love walking nicely on leash - even with 30+ German Shepherds through downtown Sacramento and Placerville!  I do well with low-energy respectful dogs with slow proper introductions and with my 4 foster dogs both male and female.  But when the day is done, I just want to be with you; a belly rub or two and maybe a little scratch behind the ears wouldn’t be bad either...   I need a patient adopter, preferably one who stays at home who will take the time to acclimate me to new people and to my new forever home. A calm household with children 18 years old and up who will keep my energy level down is what I need... ...so anything to get that energy out…hikes, walks, runs…a tired dog is a happy dog!   My forever family should have American Eskimo Dog, Chow, or German Shepherd experience.    I know sit, down, place, come when called and “wait” at a door.  I am  spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.  Could my cuteness be the missing piece in your life?   *German Shepherd 52%, American Eskimo Dog 17%, Alaskan Malamute 17%, Siberian Husky 7%, Chow 7% Minimum adoption donation:$350.00  Please visit our website at www.edcgsr.com to fill out an application for this dog.                                        ##1252858##
