Rehoming Moon: 7-year-old American Eskimo Dog. Loving, energetic, and house-trained. Due to a change in family circumstances (impending birth of a child), we are looking for a new home for her. She needs a family with time for long walks and lots of cuddles. No aggression issues, we just need to downsize our responsibilities. Moon has never met a stranger and is loved by all who meet her. She loves car rides, walks, hanging out on the couch, and stuffed animals.

Meet our newest sad senior Ace This poor confused bedraggled guy was passed through family members that couldn’t care for him, just existing but not loved. He can be a bit standoffish and cranky at first but desperate to bond, and very sweet, gentle and loyal once he does. He definitely has perked up in the presence of other small dogs and would like a home with at least one other doggie sibling to help him feel safe. He’s about 15lbs, 12 years old, and we have no clue what kind of mix- may westie, maltese, bichon, eskie? 🤷‍♀️ He looks like a little polar bear 🐻‍❄️ or baby seal 🦭 to us. A very dirty flea-allergy stained polar bear. He appeared to have been suffering from some longterm flea infestations and ear infections and got a full work up and some medications at the vet, as well as a long overdue dental. He seems to actually warm up faster to men and prefer them but has warmed up to all within a few days, just will need some time and space initially. He has cataracts, isnt completely blind but doesn’t have great depth perception. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.

Story
Rain is an incredibly sweet and sensitive dog. He was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea and has been in foster for a year after receiving lots of TLC which has now made him so ready for a forever home. Rain has learned to love toys and be silly with his humans and doggy siblings. He is very quiet but has found his confidence in his foster home and will sometimes let out a playful bark. Rain needs be in a home with another dog. He loves the company of them and also enjoys playing with non-alpha dogs. Rain also needs to be with people who aren't setting expectations on him. He will take a little time to show his true beautiful and silly personality but once he knows he is safe and loved, he will surely show his playful side.
