Meet Cooper, a sweet and loyal 5-year-old pup looking for a calm, loving home. Hss a playful companion who enjoys spending time with his favorite people and loves a good game or walk. Due to some anxiety around young children, he would do best in a quieter, adult-only household where he can feel safe and relaxed. He has Addison’s disease, which is well-managed with daily medication and regular vet care, and he continues to live a happy, active life. He hasn’t had much interaction with other dogs, so slow introductions would be best if you have pets. If youre looking for a gentle, devoted friend to share your days with, cooper would make a wonderful addition to your home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mari is about 6 years old and 17 lbs., and is good with children, other dogs and cats too! Mari is house trained, current on shots, spayed, microchipped and ready to go home with you!!! This affectionate girl loves to play, is crate trained and enjoys a leash walk. Mari is slow to warm up to men, but once she is comfortable, she is as happy as can be. Meet our newest sad senior Ace This poor confused bedraggled guy was passed through family members that couldn’t care for him, just existing but not loved. He can be a bit standoffish and cranky at first but desperate to bond, and very sweet, gentle and loyal once he does. He definitely has perked up in the presence of other small dogs and would like a home with at least one other doggie sibling to help him feel safe. He’s about 15lbs, 12 years old, and we have no clue what kind of mix- may westie, maltese, bichon, eskie? 🤷‍♀️ He looks like a little polar bear 🐻‍❄️ or baby seal 🦭 to us. A very dirty flea-allergy stained polar bear. He appeared to have been suffering from some longterm flea infestations and ear infections and got a full work up and some medications at the vet, as well as a long overdue dental. He seems to actually warm up faster to men and prefer them but has warmed up to all within a few days, just will need some time and space initially. He has cataracts, isnt completely blind but doesn’t have great depth perception. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
