Story
Masha had been in the shelter for about a month now. She is still such a sweet and happy girl, but we know she is itching to get out of the shelter and into a loving home! Masha is very friendly and loves meeting new people. She is honestly well mannered and wants to please her people! Masha did not live with children in her previous home, but we do imagine her doing well with children. We just encourage adopters to bring their children with them when they come to meet her! Masha is potty trained and crate trained. She was typically crated when left alone. Please keep in mind that Masha will need time to adjust to her new home! Masha also walks well on a leash and knows the cues “sit”, “stay” and “down”. Masha does need additional socializing with other dogs. We have done a couple dog meet and greets in the shelter and though Masha appears to want to play she just doesn’t know how to interact with the other dogs! She paws at them and jumps on them, but becomes irritated if they do the same to her. She is redirected easily and is not reactive when in her kennel or in the outdoor runs! Masha will need slow introductions and could benefit from reactive dog training. We imagine Masha doing best with submissive, tolerable or laid back dogs. A dog meet and greet is required prior to adoption! Masha loves to learn and has enjoyed enrichment that keeps her brain active. She is a good mixture of cuddly and playful, but will be happiest with regular exercise! She has enjoyed running in the snow, carrying around stuffies and chewing on rubber toys. Masha is a good girl and we want nothing more than to find her a great home!

Story
Scout arrived to the shelter as a stray and unfortunately he was not claimed by his previous owner. Scout is a shy boy with a gentle and submissive personality. He needs a little encouragement when trying new things, but that`s okay! Scout is friendly and has done well with meeting new people, he just needs a moment to get to know you better! We do not know if Scout lived with children or other animals previously. During his time in the shelter he has been nice towards the other dogs and is not reactive, but can be a little nervous around them sometimes. He could potentially do well with a nice friend and like always, we can provide a dog meet and greet if needed! When Scout is with people and being talked to his tends to smile. This may be confused with snarling, but we have determined that he is actually smiling and showing off his pearly whites! Scout loves to be praised and told that he is a good boy. Because he can be shy and submissive introductions to children should be taken slowly and always supervised! We encourage adopters to bring their little ones with them when they come to meet him. Scout can become anxious at times and will thrive best with regular exercise / enrichment. Having an owner who is able to continue socializing would be beneficial for this big love bug. Scout appears to be potty trained, but please keep in mind that he will need time to learn his new homes routine! He walks mostly well on a leash, but will pull if he becomes spooked. Scout also knows the cues `sit` and ` lay down`. Scout is very sweet and snuggly. He believes that he is a lap dog and once he`s comfortable with you he will not leave your side. Scout will sit on your lap and though some people may not appreciate that, we do not have the heart to tell him no!

Story
Missy was seen running around looking lost and scared before she arrived to the shelter. She can be a little shy when meeting new people for the first time, but typically warms up quickly! She is treat motivated and loves love. We aren’t 100% certain that this is true, but Missy was believed to have been dumped and we have no idea why someone would do that to this very good girl! Missy appears to be mostly potty trained, but would do much better in a home with a more regular routine. She also walks well on a leash and knows the cues “sit”, “down” and “shake”. Missy has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and tends to have a submissive demeanor towards them. We can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Introductions to all new friends should be taken slowly to ensure the best outcome. It is unknown if Missy has lived with children so we encourage you to bring your little ones with you when you come to meet her! She is friendly and gentle so we anticipate her doing well. Missy has been easy going during her time in the shelter and has had a calm personality. We imagine her opening up more and playing once she’s comfortable in the best home! Missy is a great dog who has had it ruff lately. She is looking for a family to love her for the rest of her life!
