To support his new family going forward, Mr. Worldwide will also receive 3 complimentary consults with our behavior team following adoption along with three bags of food courtesy of Homes Alive Pets!Age: 2 yearsWeight: 32.5kg / 71.7lbsA bit about Mr. Worldwide:- Unknown history with cats. All introductions should be slow and supervised.- Only dog in home due to poor dog-dog social skills; potential for dog friends in future- Unknown history with children. All introductions should be slow and supervised.- May do well as a rural placement, but not required. Our goofy pittie mix Mr. Worldwide was found as a stray outside Calgary city limits back in April. Since then, this silly dude has spent almost 6 months in our care! Mr. Worldwide is an active, high energy boy who loves to hike, explore and even roller skate (well, he runs -you skate)! Although he may not look it, his love of the outdoors also means he’d make a great farm or acreage dog. He’d love to go on an all day adventure with you, or just chill and smell the breeze while you work outside. Our boy has really struggled with kennel stress at CHS, but with the hard work and support of our animal care and behaviour teams, we’ve learned that a combination of fun walks and outdoor adventures, as well as a variety of puzzle feeders and other mental enrichment toys helps him get the wiggles out. After so long in shelter, Mr. W will need some time to relax, adjust to his new digs and learn about life at your place. Consistent routines, and shorter absences will help the transition go smoothly. He also comes with 3 complimentary private consults to help you set off on the right paw together.Shelter staff and volunteers say this boy is, “one of my favourites to visit”, “greets you sweetly at the door”, and “loves belly scratches”. If you’re looking for a snuggle bug who can keep up on all your adventures, then look

**Emory is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Age: 3 years oldWeight: 20.4kg / 44.9lbA bit about Emory:- unknown history with kids; all interactions should be supervised- limited history with cats; introductions should be slow and supervised- dogs okay pending successful introEmory`s foster family tells us that he is 1/2 adventure buddy and 1/2 couch potato! Whether you`re planning a hiking or skiing adventure or a lazy day cuddling on the couch, Emory is your perfect companion. This cuddle bug is comfortable in a crate and working hard on mastering skills like sit, down, shake, and wait. If you have a dog-friendly office, Emory would love to be your workplace buddy too! His foster family also reports that he did well with their resident cat and may thrive in a home with other friendly dogs.Emory`s road hasn’t been easy. In his previous home, he wasn’t shown the love or care every dog deserves, but that hasn’t destroyed his bright, hopeful spirit. Despite everything, Emory still trusts humans to be kind even if he is a bit nervous to begin with. He’s on a mission to find a family who will show him the love he’s been searching for—and who wouldn’t fall for this angel boy?Shelter life isn’t his favorite, so he hopes you’ll come meet him soon and let him be your loyal, loving companion forever!

Story
Age: 2 yearsWeight: 29.7 kgA little bit about Hera: - children unknown - cats / small animals unknown - dogs unknown, potential for other dog in home pending successful dog-to-dogGet ready to meet Hera, a sweet and active girl who just needs a little time to warm up to new people. Because she can be shy when meeting strangers, Hera is hoping to find an energetic family that can offer her plenty of patience, space, and tasty treats to help her warm up in her new home. Then there will be plenty of opportunities for long walks together, fun playtime, and lots of snuggles! Having time to play with her chew toys and settle down for some cuddles is her favourite! In the foster home, it was noted that Hera did have a little bit of separation stress and would benefit from owners that can dedicate extra time to helping her develop coping skills for when her people have to go to work. She also requires a special diet and medication to help with her allergies, but the counsellors can go over that when you come to learn more about her. Hera is waiting for her new forever, will she be sharing it with you?

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This big guy has the best neck rolls. He is sociable and friendly with some energy. A bit like a big dog stuck with the mind of a pup, sometimes he jumps or is a bit more boisterous. He does have the potential for a higher prey drive so no tiny animals in the home please. He is a strong boy so will do best with a 16 year plus household. Rosco is comedic and will bring joy and fun into your household. He has been staying with us for 2 months and is very excited to find his forever family. With a heart as big as his, you wont be disappointed.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This friendly lady is looking for a home of her very own! She would do best in an experienced home that has older children 16+, as she is working on arousal and polite greetings. She can get quite excited and jumps up. An active home would be best, someone who can take her on runs, hikes and other opportunities for this sweet lady to get out and socialize. A basic manners class or private training may be required with adoption.
