Story
Courtesy Listing: A good Samaritan is asking for help saying: This young pittie was dumped here (in a small community close to Little Rock.) He's friendly, just wants love, does zoomies all over the place, and is a bit goofy too lol! He's been out here for at least 5 days that I know of. Looks like he has not been neutered. He has so much energy, but once he chills out for a few minutes, he knows how to sit, mostly when asked. He likes toys! I posted about him on Facebook for the last 4 days, but no one wants an extra dog. Are you able to help? If you are interested in this good fella, please fill out an online application, the first step in this process as we want to be sure he goes to a loving and responsible home. You can find a copy of that application here. An application does not obligate you to take him, but it does show that you are serious about the process. Please remember our organization is staffed completely by volunteers.

HashbrownPitbull Terrier mix4 years/MaleIntake date: October 14, 202222-D464If we got to re-name Hashbrown we would name him Goodest because he is the goodest boy ever. He’s been at the shelter since October 14, 2022, and that’s such a long time to be without a home. He most likely gets overlooked because he is very quiet, doesn’t bark, he isn’t one to say “Hey! tail wag, tail wag, jump, jump look at me!”. He has manners, sits patiently when you go into his kennel for any reason and keeps it very clean. Hashbrown is a 4 yr old Pit Bull Terrier and is neutered, current on all vaccinations, HW negative and is microchipped. He will need to go to a home with a secure six-foot fence and no cats, small animals, or birds. He would do best with female dogs and would need to do a meet ‘n greet at the shelter before going home. If you are looking for the goodest boy ever, come by the shelter and meet Hashbrown. If you are interested in meeting him, the shelter is open Monday-Friday, Noon-7:00pm and Saturday, Noon-4:00pm. Let’s help find this sweet boy his forever home.

KingPit Bull Terrier Mix1 year/MaleIntake date: Jan. 5, 202424-D03Meet King, he’s definitely the king of good looks. The first thing you will notice is his stripes, “ They’re gr-r-reat!” in the words of Tony the Tiger. He does the cutest sit, because as soon as he sits up comes that paw to shake, and that sweet face just melts your heart. He’s really hoping you will come meet him because he can’t wait to start his new life with you. He will need to meet all family members, including resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along. Once home, please give him time to decompress and get used to what you expect of him. You will have to put in time to train him but with patience you will be amazed at how smart he is. King is 11 months and is neutered, utd on vaccines including rabies and will be microchipped.Ready to meet King? Pet viewing hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-7:00pm and Saturday, Noon-4:00pm.

Story
Captain here, looking for a dog to lead the way? Consider me! I am loyal, goofy, and lots of fun! I can be nervous until we know each other better, but if you lived on the cold/hot hard streets you may be a little wary with new people too. Now, my time at the rescue has really really improved my life and I am SO MUCH more social and outgoing! I am a big, beautiful reddish-tan Pittie/Labrador mix with a white racing stripe down the middle of my chest! Our small canine family came to God's Dogs Rescue in a pickle, a rag tag group of Labradors and one pregnant female! We came to this safe haven with just 3 dogs and now we're a whole lot more! But all of us are now spayed and neutered and READY for furever families who won't leave us to run the streets and starve, we actually have gotten a little chunky, lol and REALLY HAPPY!! As Captain, I'll ensure that you are properly lead and motivated to get your day to day life moving! Well, that's because I need daily walks but besides the point! Some basic information about Captain; he is male, Pitbull/Labrador Retriever mix, and is medium/large-sized boy, at about 60#. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Odin, a lovable 3-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix with a knack for adding a touch of comedy to everyday moments. Odin's playful personality shines through in his charming habit of pretending he doesn't quite grasp his own name or the concept of "going inside" when called - a quirky trait that never fails to bring a smile to our faces. Despite his initial apprehension, Odin's heart of gold shines when it comes to his submissive nature once the collar and leash are on. We're putting in the effort to help him overcome his fear and are making steady progress as he learns to embrace these new experiences. Walking on a leash is a journey we're excited to embark on together, knowing that Odin's determination and willingness to adapt will lead him to success. While he may be unsure about collars and leashes, Odin's social skills with his housemates are spot-on. He gets along well with his furry companions, showcasing his friendly and adaptable nature. As he continues to learn and grow, we have no doubt that Odin's vibrant spirit and endearing antics will steal the hearts of everyone he meets. Odin's journey is one of overcoming fears, embracing new challenges, and finding joy in every moment. If you're ready to join him on this adventure and offer a patient, loving home where he can thrive, Odin is more than ready to shower you with his goofiness, affection, and unwavering loyalty. Come meet Odin and let his heartwarming presence bring laughter and love into your life. Story
Meet Nyla, a loving and playful 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who wears the title of "mom" with pride. Nyla's vibrant spirit shines through in her playful antics and her deep affection for belly rubs. When the excitement of playtime kicks in, she has a cute habit of gently taking your hand in her mouth, showing her eagerness for some interactive fun. Nyla has been making great progress in her leash training, proving her willingness to learn and adapt. Baths might not be her favorite activity, as she's a bit wary of water, but her courageous spirit is helping her overcome her fears one step at a time. She's also conquered her initial trepidation of wearing a collar and being on a leash, showing her determination to embrace new experiences. This sweet girl is a fan of knotted ropes and treats - two things that always bring a sparkle to her eyes. While she's currently enjoying the company of her housemates, we're still exploring her comfort level around other dogs. With time and patience, we hope to see Nyla's social circle expand. Nyla's journey is one of growth and transformation, and she's ready to continue that journey with a loving forever family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection and make every moment a joyful one, Nyla might just be the perfect match for you. Open your heart to Nyla and discover the true meaning of unconditional love and companionship.
