Story
Kanan has been with us for about 3 years. We adopted him from a shelter in our area. He’s crate trained, knows basic command like bed, sit, shake, and treat. He was leash trained but it’s been a while since he’s been on one. Likes to run but doesn’t fetch well. Prefers to lay around, and act like a lap dog. Loves attention and needs to be in a single pet home. Can get territorial about attention and space.

Story
We took Buck in 8 years ago after finding him in a cow pasture and he’s been the best ever since. Up until last week he was best friends with our other dog but something’s changed, and with two infants in the house we don’t have time to figure out how to fix it. We don’t want this to be the end of the road for him. He’s such a good boy and just wants to please. He knows sit, stay, and lay down. He loves to snuggle on the couch and watch tv and go for rides. It breaks my heart writing this. Please help my buddy.

Story
💔 Sorry Long Post 💔 ❤️ Betty is looking for her FOREVER HOME ❤️ 💔 This sweet girl has had a terrible first 2 years of life !! She was adopted as a cute puppy from Alachua County Animal Control. A little over a year later she was part of a cruelty case in Levy county where she was confiscated only weighing 19 lbs (less than half of what she should have weighed). Who knows what this poor girl endured! 😢After being released in Levy county and putting on some weight she was transferred back to Alachua. She was there for a couple months putting on more weight and trusting humans again. When we pulled a couple smaller pups they told us her story and how even with everything she’s been through she is the sweetest most loving girl, we had to help her find her PERFECT Happily Ever After!! Betty is a 2 year old designer dog and weighs 48 lbs. She is definitely pittie and maybe a little lab and Bassett mixed in, as she has 3/4 legs. Betty is spayed, microchipped, heart worm negative and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. She has the most beautiful eyes that look like gems. 💎 Her fur is a brownish black that looks like velvet. Betty is the sweetest girl and follows her foster Mom everywhere. She is potty trained, crate trained and dog friendly. She would love to go on a casual walk or snuggle and binge Netflix. She is calm for a young dog and will make some lucky family a PERFECT companion!! She is in a loving foster home in Crystal River, Florida. If you are interested in giving this beautiful girl her Forever Home that she so deserves, please go to our website at rescuedogsdream.com and complete an application. Background Check, reference and vet checks will be completed prior to meeting.

Story
💛 Meet Gramma Juju 💛 11 years young This sweet old gal has clearly lived a hard life — the scars on her body tell stories we may never know. But somehow, none of it took away her gentle spirit or her love for people. Gramma Juju is all heart. She’s searching for a soft place to land and a human who will love her, spoil her, and let her spend her golden years wrapped in comfort. She adores cuddles, lives for affection, and will happily take over your bed and couch like the queen she is (and honestly… she’s earned it). We don’t know everything she’s been through, but we do know this: she still chooses to trust. She still chooses love. And she has so much of it to give. Juju doesn’t need much — just a warm home, a cozy spot to nap, and someone who will remind her every day that her hard days are behind her. ✨ Let’s give this beautiful soul the retirement she deserves. ✨

Story
🐾 Full Adoption Bio (updated) Meet Pepper — a 4-year-old pit mix with a big heart, a bold spirit, and a personality you can’t help but fall for! 🐶✨ Pepper is energetic, playful, and confidently herself. She loves to stay active and is always ready to turn everyday moments into an adventure. She already knows “sit” and is happy to show off her skills—especially if treats are involved! This fun-loving girl adores walks, toys, and quality time with her people. Pepper would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the attention. She’s also not a fan of cats and would thrive in a home with older kids who can keep up with her lively, spirited energy. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who brings laughter, love, and just the right amount of sass, Pepper might be your perfect match. 💛 Pepper weighs approximately 47 lbs and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea and heartworm prevention. 🔥 Ready to meet this firecracker? Story
Sasha is the sweetest girl ever—and she knows it! She loves everyone she meets and has a blast playing with other dogs, especially pups who can match her playful energy. Sasha has been with us since October 25, and she continues to charm everyone she meets. Because Sasha doesn’t quite realize how big she is, she would do best in a home with older children. She’s housebroken and loves going on walks, playing with her toys, and being right in the middle of the fun. If you’re looking for a happy, loving, tail-wagging best friend who’s always ready for the next adventure, Sasha is your girl! 🐾💖
