I originally listed Ivy on this website last year (summer 2025), but circumstances did not allow for an adoption right away. I have now relisting Ivy-who is a red-nose terrier mix and i originally adopted her at 4 weeks of age. Ivy is now 6 years old and about 65 pounds, she is soft, white with brown spots and is very sweet, gentle, playful, mild-tempered, smart, and very obedient. Ivy is house-trained, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. Ivy knows basic commands. Ivy takes 2 short walks a day and likes to relax. Ivy eats one time a day in the morning. Ivy is very friendly and loves attention. Sometimes Ivy can be playful anxious, but she is very laid back and loves to please. Ivy loves to play in the backyard where she gets the occasional zoomies.

We found her as a stray near our house about 2 years ago. She is very sweet and playful, she just finds ways to either break or get around the perimeter fence and we cannot look after both her and our other dog who also gets out because of her. She is a very good dog, I think she just needs someone who is experienced and can train her better than we did.

Hello,I am sadly looking for a safe place to rehome my dog, Coastal. She is roughly a 5yr old boxer mix. She does amazing with people and is friendly with other animals as- well. She knows basic commands such as; sit, no, come, etc. Ideally she will be in a home with someone who can spend most of their time with her as she does have separation anxiety. I have recently decided a different career path, forcing me out of the house from 7:30am- 11pm 6 days a week, leaving me with little time for her. She loves to run and play and I am unable to be there to give her time to do that. She was givin flea and tick meds on the 26th of April, and heart worm meds on the 1st of May. I am unsure of vaccination status, but was able to stay in a “doggy hotel” roughly a year ago with the records I could provide. She is a super sweet girl and deserves so much more than I’ve been able to give her, you help would be greatly appreciated.

Buddy is ~4yrs, enjoys chillin, chewin on his toys and bones, snuggles and play. Has selective hearing-hears loud noice, does have a level of hearing loss. He would probably do okay with a companion with proper slow introduction. Bud is a good dog, all he needs is the right person to give him a chance by gaining their trust. He does well with reward training. He does not do well when put in a fearful position or is not given attention. He needs to get his energy out, then he enjoys to relax by laying next to his person. All dogs have been spay/nuetered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are all rescue only or for space pulls from Hernando County Animal Services. We have provided them with basic obedience training. Most respond well to basic voice commands; sit, stay, here, lay, off, down, & bed. Exact breed is unknown as we do not DNA test. We believe none of our rescues are pure-breed dogs. Rather a combination of Hounds/Terriers/Bully breeds. They have however all been behavior tested and are available for adoption. If there are any known issues with any of our dogs we disclose at meet and greet. No adoption fees. Donations are the only means of funding our rescue.
