He does well in playgroup, where he’s playful, allows polite greetings, and responds appropriately to corrections. He’s the kind of pup who knows how to have fun while still being respectful of his canine friends.Sausage has some ongoing skin and ear conditions, but he’s making great progress. Areas of hair loss along his back are improving with visible fur regrowth, and his ears are currently healthy with only minimal wax. Previous concerns — including moist interdigital dermatitis, raised skin plaques, and otitis — have fully resolved, and he continues to respond well to ongoing care.On leash, Sausage may pull a bit due to excitement, but in the play yard he really shines. He loves playing “find it” with treats and happily soaks up affection from his people. With his social nature, playful energy, and improving health, Sausage is ready to find a home where he can continue to thrive.

Buddy is ~4yrs, enjoys chillin, chewin on his toys and bones, snuggles and play. Has selective hearing-hears loud noice, does have a level of hearing loss. He would probably do okay with a companion with proper slow introduction. Bud is a good dog, all he needs is the right person to give him a chance by gaining their trust. He does well with reward training. He does not do well when put in a fearful position or is not given attention. He needs to get his energy out, then he enjoys to relax by laying next to his person. All dogs have been spay/nuetered, vaccinated, and microchipped. They are all rescue only or for space pulls from Hernando County Animal Services. We have provided them with basic obedience training. Most respond well to basic voice commands; sit, stay, here, lay, off, down, & bed. Exact breed is unknown as we do not DNA test. We believe none of our rescues are pure-breed dogs. Rather a combination of Hounds/Terriers/Bully breeds. They have however all been behavior tested and are available for adoption. If there are any known issues with any of our dogs we disclose at meet and greet. No adoption fees. Donations are the only means of funding our rescue. Kanan has been with us for about 3 years. We adopted him from a shelter in our area. He’s crate trained, knows basic command like bed, sit, shake, and treat. He was leash trained but it’s been a while since he’s been on one. Likes to run but doesn’t fetch well. Prefers to lay around, and act like a lap dog. Loves attention and needs to be in a single pet home. Can get territorial about attention and space.

We took Buck in 8 years ago after finding him in a cow pasture and he’s been the best ever since. Up until last week he was best friends with our other dog but something’s changed, and with two infants in the house we don’t have time to figure out how to fix it. We don’t want this to be the end of the road for him. He’s such a good boy and just wants to please. He knows sit, stay, and lay down. He loves to snuggle on the couch and watch tv and go for rides. It breaks my heart writing this. Please help my buddy.
