Mrs. Maisel is an energetic sweetheart that aims to please, always willing to sit for head pats or roll over for belly rubs! She is around 4 years old and was found running in morning traffic in Baton Rouge, LA. After not finding her owners, Maisel moved to Tampa with her foster family in search of a new home. Maisel is very playful and loves bouncing around the yard, playing fetch and chewing on her favorite toys. She loves sleeping in her kennel and is house trained. She gets along with dogs her size but due to her large size and energetic nature she not recommended for families with small children or pets. Maisel would be best suited for a family with older kids and larger dogs. Maisel requires a fenced in yard and a comfy couch. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, chipped, and heartworm negative.

Murdoch is my late father’s dog. My stepmother can no longer care for him. He is about six years old. He is fixed, chipped, and up to date on all of his shots. He had met children and loved them, but has never met another pet. He is a sweet boy who loves to give kisses. His favorite treat is carrots. He loves to go on walks. He was my dad’s best friend.

Story

I adopted cookie when she was 1 years old from a shelter- she is 7 now. She is the sweetest, cuddliest Velcro dog. I am devastated to rehome her but because of my living situation, I got her when I was with my partner and we are no longer together, having two dogs in a studio apartment is a lot, and cookie does not get the proper exercise she needs. She tends to be leash reactive with other dogs so an apartment complex is not ideal for her. Because of her behavior I did get her professionally dog trained and she can sit, lay down , heel and stay- she really wants to please and be loved. She is still reactive though on leash so this is my main concern. I just do not have the bandwidth to take care of her like she needs. She does get along with other dogs and cats in her house- she would be best suited for a home with a yard so she can run around and play ! She is great with kids, she loves them. Overall she is just a great loving dog who needs space to be her and get her energy out.❤️

We adopted Kylo at age 1ish from a county kill shelter 4 years ago. He is a smart, athletic, sweet dog who loves kids, walks, and lying in your lap. He loves all people, has never growled or nipped at anyone, only wants to be pet. He loves kids, and has been a great dog for our family with kids aged 4-10. He knows many commands, but also can be an escape artist if the yard is not well secured. He needs work on recall and is fun to train if you are experienced. He loves to run, chase, and play tug. He does well with other dogs when slowly and appropriately introduced. He does better with dogs smaller than him. With that said, he has a high prey drive and will chase and catch cats, squirrels, and rabbits. He has unfortunately played too hard with and killed some of these small animals. Unfortunately, we are moving out of Tampa to a smaller house without a yard. We love Kylo very much and want for him to be in a home where he will be happy. He is crate trained and good on a leash.

He’s well-mannered, basic command trained (sit, paw, down, stay), even enjoys showing skills by catching treats mid-air. Theo thrives on attention and cuddles and makes an excellent companion whenever you may need comfort. A backyard would be a dream for him, he loves sunbathing and outdoor time, he even enjoys the pool and beach but he’s just as happy relaxing on the couch during a quiet night in. He does great with kids, enjoys car rides, loves his stuffy toys. With professional guidance from an experienced trainer, he has the potential to be successfully socialized with other dogs as he had not gotten a chance to since time in the shelter. Theo is in need of stability in a home and some time well spent bonding. He comes with plenty of toys, accessories and food. He is approved and comes with documentation for apartments/housing.

Marcus is an 8 year old Bulloxer (American Bulldog/Boxer). He is 70 lbs. of love and the sweetest boy. He is energetic with a funny/goofy personality. He loves to play fetch, tug-o-war and cuddle. He loves going for walks, is excellent on a leash, and great traveling in a car. Someone with a backyard would be ideal. Marcus is a very smart, trainable dog. He knows sit, spin, paw, down, off, drop, high five, leave it and wait. He is used to being boarded. Marcus is not a cat lover, however, with slow introductions he can be with other dogs. He currently lives with one dog. Marcus would do best with older children (7+). Marcus is up to date on his shots. Marcus' adoption fee is $75.
