Story

Hi, I’m Princess! My sisters and I are from Alabama, where life was going okay until we somehow ended up in a shelter. We are not really sure why we are here or what would happen next, but then we came to Big Dog Ranch—and everything started looking brighter! We’ve received the medical care we needed, made lots of new friends, and we are learning all the things we need to know to become the best forever pets we can be. We walk nicely on a leashes, keep our kennel pretty clean, and love meeting and playing with our new friends. Now We ready for adoption and just waiting for someone special to come meet us and take us home. Could you be the person We’ve been waiting for? Thank you for taking the time to read our story. I hope to meet you soon! Love, Princess

Story

Meet Bertha & Her Beautiful Litter of 9! Bertha and her pups were rescued from a shelter in Alabama, and it was here in our care that her sweet babies were born. Safe, loved, and nurtured from day one, these pups have grown into happy, healthy little bundles of joy. They’ve received full medical care, plenty of affection, and are busy learning all their important puppy skills. Now, they’re ready to start their own adventures in loving furever homes. As for Bertha, this devoted mama has given her all to raising her puppies. Now that her little ones are ready to spread their wings, it’s time for Bertha to begin her own journey. She’s looking for a family who will give her the same love and care she’s shown her pups—a place where she can finally just be Bertha, enjoying walks, snuggles, and the good life she deserves.

Story

Hi! My name is Dagger. 🐾 My brother, Truth, and I had a rough start. We were brought to Big Dog Ranch and tied to the entrance gate, where some wonderful employees found us and came to our rescue. We were scared and didn’t know what was going to happen, but we were finally safe. I’m a very friendly guy who loves spending time with my people! I enjoy going for walks on a leash and playing a good game of fetch. I’m dog selective, so I like to take my time getting to know my four-legged friends. And let me tell you, tasty treats are definitely the way to my heart! ❤️ I love getting rewarded when I’m doing a great job and learning new things. I’ve come a long way, and now I’m hoping my next chapter is with a loving forever family who will give me the love, patience, and happy life I deserve. 🐶❤️

Story

Meet Billy! Billy is a handsome 1-year-old Boxer mix who came to us as an owner surrender. At such a young age, Billy has already experienced the uncertainty of losing the home he knew, but he hasn’t let that slow him down. He’s ready to leave that chapter behind and find a family who will make him a permanent part of their lives. Billy is a high-energy, playful young dog who would love a family that can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. He enjoys staying active, playing with his favorite toys, and having plenty of opportunities to burn off his energy. Once playtime is over, though, Billy is more than ready to show off his softer side—he absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to his people. This smart boy is already housetrained and knows basic commands, giving his future family a wonderful foundation to build on. Billy is also good with other dogs and could be a great match for a home with a canine companion. No previous dog-owning experience is required; he simply needs someone ready to provide the exercise, consistency, and love that a young, energetic dog needs. Billy has the perfect combination of playful energy and affectionate companionship. Whether he’s chasing a toy, enjoying an adventure, or curled up beside you after a busy day, Billy is happiest when he has someone to share life with.
