He was rescued from a situation where he and other dogs were neglected and malnourished so he understandably tends to resource guard his food from other dogs for fear of not getting enough. Memphis is approximately 1 year and 7 months old and weighs 65 lbs. He was found as a stray and never claimed. Memphis is a sweet boy who loves cuddling on the couch. He rides well in the car and loves to go places. When he sees his harness and leash come out he gets very excited. Once out the door he is so hyped up that he pulls on the leash. Memphis enjoys toys, bones and treats. He takes treats gently and knows the following commands – sit, paw, and down. He loves to hug so he will jump up on you to get one so homes with small children is not ideal. Memphis will run after a ball but has not mastered the return. He would rather you come to him. Unsure if he is housebroken, but he does not go to the bathroom in the interior part of his kennel. Memphis is current on all vaccines and neutered. He will be microchipped prior to adoption.

Jet is such a sweet soul. He is the first dog I ever owned, and I got him because I had been living alone and was getting into a terrible funk. He got me up and out and playing again. He loves to play tug of war and boy is he strong, gave me a serious upper body workout. Every day we would be out at a park, a trail or just tossing his ball around and playing tug of war. At the end of the day he will sit with me and watch the sun go down. One of my biggest fears was him having accidents in the house. He is an awesome communicator when it comes to that. He is not big on toys, especially the ones that make noise. He is afraid of them, LOL. He does love his rope and ball. When I injured my knee and had, Jet was right by my side during my recovery. When we walked up a hill, he would help me out a little by pulling me a bit so I wouldn't have to work so hard. Jet is so affectionate. I think he sensed I didn't know what I was doing as a dog mom, so he was patient with me.
