Story
Meet Elizabeth - Your Future Cuddling Companion! Arrival: Elizabeth found her way to Pet Adoption League as a stray, but she's ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter in a loving forever home. Personality: Elizabeth is a true people-lover. She thrives on human companionship and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her favorite humans. Her sweet and gentle nature makes her a delight to be around, and she's always eager to show affection through cuddles and snuggles. Elizabeth is a genuine cuddle bug, and she's sure to bring warmth and love into any home. Special Considerations: Elizabeth would do best as the only dog in the household. While she loves people, she prefers to have all the attention to herself and may feel overwhelmed by the presence of other dogs. In a home where she's the sole recipient of love and affection, Elizabeth will flourish and bond deeply with her human companions. Skills and Training: Despite her past as a stray, Elizabeth is a smart and obedient pup. She knows basic commands like sit and enjoys learning new tricks, especially if treats are involved! Elizabeth takes pride in her paw-shaking skills and loves to impress her humans with her talents. With continued positive reinforcement and patience, she's sure to excel in her training. Ideal Home: Elizabeth is searching for a home where she can be the center of attention and receive all the love and affection she deserves. She would thrive in a household where she's treated like royalty and given plenty of opportunities for cuddling and snuggling. A family who enjoys spending quality time with their furry companion and is committed to providing her with a loving and stable environment would be the perfect match for Elizabeth. Story
MEET JAZZ! I'm such a great, happy dog! I'm a 6-year-old pit-lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh about 55 lbs. There are so many great things about me. I love human attention and affection. I have a cheerful disposition. And I'm the type of dog who will be your best friend. But I'm just one more black dog that found myself at a high-kill shelter, and it's tough to find my person or people. I will do best as the only dog in the home, but I will give you enough love to make up for that. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
I'M GRAYSON, and I'm a great dog! I'm an unique looking Pittie but am handsome in my own right. I have a bit longer nose and some chubby cheeks and my eyes can sometimes look sad. I'm also quite small for a male Pit, about 45-50 lbs. I'm about 4-5 years old now and keep getting overlooked. I love people and have tested well with some other dogs. About a year ago I was diagnosed with a double hip dysplasia, and I just need to be on meds (or supplements) going forward. (Right now I'm over-the-counter glucosamine and am doing great!) I can be a bit touchy on my back hips now and then, so best to just avoid rubbing me there, especially if I'm sleeping. I am starved for human affection, and I love to go on car rides, walks and other outings. I would do best in a quiet home with a single person or couple. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M TOMMY! I'm a 3-year-old gorgeous blue Pit Bull Terrier in need of a home! I was saved from a shelter and am waiting patiently for someone to choose me! I am a handsome boy who loves his people immensely. I tested well with some dogs, but I would be best in a home as the only dog (we think). I absolutely love to play fetch. I also love to go for walks & hikes; I'm strong on a leash, so would benefit with a strong & muscular owner. My ideal home would be with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M ALFIE! I'm a sweet, gentle soul, 6 years old, who found myself at a scary, overcrowded shelter. Now that I've been rescued, I'm so appreciative. While I'm a little shy, I love people, and I love other dogs, too. I weigh only 46 lbs. so am a wonderful size. I'm mellow, easygoing, quiet - and honestly, just the easiest dog to have around. I would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a dog to walk, take naps with, go to the beach now and then, and cuddle. I'm super cute with my pointed ears and pink nose. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
