Charlie is a great dog. I’ve had him since he was a puppy. I just don’t have a big enough place or a yard for him. He needs play time everyday. I don’t want any money. I just want him to go to a good home. Someone that will love and take care of him. It’s hard for me to let him go but I just want him to be happy. He needs to have a yard so he can run around. He has to have at least 15 min of play time everyday also. He sleeps with my youngest daughter every night. He is very protective and loyal. He’s been good to all three of my children.

Sweet dog and sadly doing more travel for work now and not fair to him im not gonna be home to be there for him 3 years old neutered and chipped does good with other dogs besides food. Knows shake speak and will heel and walk off leash if needed. He does get some anixety and nobbles on his tail and rubs his snout in the kennel. House broke will even tell you when he needs to go. Just want him to go to a good loving home.

My friends here at HOPE named me Oak because I was shaky and quivery like a leaf when I came here. That was a week ago, and I'm already opening up and developing some confidence. They tell me I will be solid like my namesake before too long. I had a bit of a rough start. I came from a bit of a dog hoarding situation. At least that's what my friend here says. All I know is that I lived with a lot of dogs, and I didn't go outside very often. When I got here I balked at doors. I didn't want to go out or in. I would drop to the ground and shake. But when I would see my hooman sitting on the ground, I would crawl to her for a hug. Now I am going through doors like a champ! I love to hang out in the lobby here. There are a lot of cats, and sometimes they scare me a bit, but I just leave them alone. They don't want to be friends, so I stay close to my favorite hoomans instead. I totally think I should be a lap dog, especially when they are trying to type. For some reason they put my front paws back on the ground and tell me "off." I don't think I like "off." On is a much better place to be! Update: I was adopted, but now I am back at HOPE. I have gained lots of confidence, but I still adore people. I am a bit dog selective, so if there is another dog in the home, it needs to be the right dog. And it upsets me when children cry. I tend to jump on them. So perhaps I would do better in a home with older children.

This is Malak. He is a one year old pit bull/terrier mix. We got him from the Humane Society and he was born there. He is up date on all of his vaccinations. We are very sad that we have to rehome him. He bit my nephew because he got spooked because my nephew was being loud and he is a very protective dog with his owners. He is a very energetic, loving, non personal space dog. He loves to give kisses and snuggles underneath the blankets. He is just not good with kids. He is a great guard dog, but we can’t risk an event happening again. He would be a great dog to a one owner or two owner couple with no children. If you have any questions please let us know. We really want to find him a great loving home.
