Meet Sky, the ultimate good girl who loves nothing more than to make her people happy. Shes the definition of a people pleaser and if you want to see her go the extra mile all you have to do is pull out a treat. A generous donor has SPONSORED her adoption fee! Sky does well with other dogs, but her play style might be a little rough for small dogs. Shes got the basics down pat: sit shake and down, but lets be real, Sky is so clever that shell do all 3 when you tell her to sit. When shes not busy being the good girl she is, shes content to relax in her crate. Sky recently started working with a professional dog trainer who will gladly continue working with Sky and her forever family to set her up for success. Some of her favorite activities are: walks (she loves exploring), car rides, and shes known for her exceptional fetching skills. Even though Sky enjoys being active, she understands when its time to wind down and makes the best couch buddy. Sky has completed her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip) and can't wait to meet you! We are looking for a an adopter with a tall fenced-in yard. Her adoption fee has been fully SPONSORED ($0)! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Carter is a very sweet boy. We believe he may have some hearing impairment, he seems to be able to hear somethings but not everything. Carter loves affection and playing. He seems to get nervous easily or startled likely due to hearing.. He and his brother Duncan  were dumped over a fence and abandoned as small puppies. We are unsure of their exact mix. He does not like to share his food and would need to be fed separately from others. Carter does good with children but is in his teething stage so will need to watch out for toys or small fingers. He does pretty good with going outside but still had a puppy bladder so will need to be taken out not too long after being feed or given water until he learns a routine. Carter  will nibble at dry food but loves canned food and will gobble it up immediately.    He will need a home with a lot of energy, who can help with training him to be the best boy he can be.    Estimated DOB:   10/4/2024 Adoption fee: $250 (6% KY sales tax included)  We would love to hear from you! Story
Omar is an overall great dog. As a puppy he will require some time and attention. As a bigger stature dog he will need room to run around and get those long legs moving. * The only information I have on his breed is that he is a pit mix. However, based on his eye (one blue, one brown and verified by veterinarian this is normal and causes no issue) and other features he has boxer and some shepard breed. * Omar’s birthday is 8/8/2024, he is right at 10 months old. * Omar is crate/kennel trained. * Omar is great with kids, however he does get excited easily. He has been great with my 2 year old, and is not aggressive. * Omar is not aggressive to anyone. He nibbles while playing and has jumping tendencies but will listen well. * Omar knows how to sit and come. * Omar is very affectionate. He loves to be loved on and be close to people. * Omar loves to play fetch, tug of war, etc.

Roos foster mom says shes a nearly perfect puppy! Shes sweet and gentle and hasexcellent manners with the big dogs and cats in her foster home. We think Roo would enjoy having at least one canine companion in a forever home, but its not a requirement as she loves humans too. Roo has quickly gotten the hang of potty training and settles quickly in her crate overnight. Shes not much of a barker overall. Roo is on the smaller side and we think shell likely end up around 40 pounds full grown. Roo will complete her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip) towards the end of July. Her adoption fee is $300. Story
The sweetest bundle of joy, rambunctious Ms Rosie is ready to bound into your life and find her forever home! Rosie has never met a stranger and is super friendly to adults and children alike, though she doesnt always know her size, so older children might be best! Shes shows good communication with other dogs and would thrive with a confident playmate. However, shed also be satisfied being the only dog and center of somebodys world. Rosie is thriving with her foster dog brother and her foster cat siblings; She barely acknowledges the cats existence, and would thrive with dog-savvy cats. She shows good bathroom habits on a regular schedule! Rosie is crate trained and travels really well in her crate, and seeks comfort in her open crate during down time. In foster care, shes working on the basics like Sit & Shake. Rosie is an absolute cuddle bug who loves the balance of relaxed luvvins and playtime zoomies! Shes absolutely loves her toys, her absolute favorites being squeakers and balls! Shes definitely a people pleaser, who shows a lot of potential when it comes to training, and would make a great addition to the right family looking for this sweet momma to settle down. Rosie has completed her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip, and recent bloodwork) and can't wait to meet you! Her adoption fee is $250.
