Dani is a sweet, wonderful dog. She is well trained and energetic. She loves to cuddle on pillows with her loved ones. Dani came from a chaotic foster home and is very food insecure and scared of other animals. This is our reason for having to surrender her. She attacked our other dog over her food dish. I would not recommend her around other animals between her fear and high prey drive.

Hello everyone, meet Rocky! This chunky monkey came to Woodford Humane looking for his second chance after his human passed away. If you are looking for a dog who is out of the puppy stage but not yet to lazy senior, Rocky could be the perfect fit for you! While it would benefit him to lose a few pounds (to help his joints as he gets older) we don't suspect he'll want to be running any marathons. Rocky will be quite content to snuggle up on the couch after a good walk or a jaunt around the backyard. If you have another dog at home, we'd recommend bringing them out for a meet-and-greet prior to adoption, just to make sure everyone can get along! Does Rocky sound like the perfect fit for you? Meet Sky, the ultimate good girl who loves nothing more than to make her people happy. Shes the definition of a people pleaser and if you want to see her go the extra mile all you have to do is pull out a treat. A generous donor has SPONSORED her adoption fee! Sky does well with other dogs, but her play style might be a little rough for small dogs. Shes got the basics down pat: sit shake and down, but lets be real, Sky is so clever that shell do all 3 when you tell her to sit. When shes not busy being the good girl she is, shes content to relax in her crate. Some of her favorite activities are: walks (she loves exploring), car rides, and shes known for her exceptional fetching skills. Even though Sky enjoys being active, she understands when its time to wind down and makes the best couch buddy. Sky has completed her vet care (spay, vaccines, microchip) and can't wait to meet you! Rich is our longest rescue resident and has a SPONSORED adoption fee! He is a super friendly, easy-going guy who we believe to be about 3 years old. He loves all types of toys, but chew toys are definitely his favorite. Rich is well out of the destructive puppy phase and great on walks - no pulling or tugging! He is crate trained and doesnt have accidents in the house. Rich is currently fostered with one other male dog and has spent a lot of time with a small breed dog as well. He has done well with most other dogs at events and meets with hopeful adopters, but he just hasn't found the right fit yet. He can easily be tested with cats, upon request. We suspect he'd do okay with dog-savvy cats. Additionally, we know Rich does well with kids as his foster family has young neighbors. Rich has completed his vet care (neuter, vaccines, microchip) and is ready to go to his forever home as soon as he finds his humans! His adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED ($0).
