Bobby is a possible Boxer mix. He and his siblings lost their mother during a winter storm, but landed themselves in a warm foster home to learn how to be the perfect companions to their future families. Bobby is a curious boy who loves playing with toys and his littermates. You will often find him sitting at your feet watching you curiously, grateful for either a chat or some snuggles. He spends his day alternating between naps, hoping to land a nap spot in your lap, and playing with all his fun toys. Bobby is doing very well with the cats in his foster home and is doing excellent on potty training! He has frequently walked up to the potty room by himself to relieve himself! He is a precious prince who cannot wait to find a forever family to call his own. Bobby has completed his veterinary care (neuter, vaccines, microchip). Dani is a sweet, wonderful dog. She is well trained and energetic. She loves to cuddle on pillows with her loved ones. Dani came from a chaotic foster home and is very food insecure and scared of other animals. This is our reason for having to surrender her. She attacked our other dog over her food dish. I would not recommend her around other animals between her fear and high prey drive.

Hello everyone, meet Rocky! This chunky monkey came to Woodford Humane looking for his second chance after his human passed away. If you are looking for a dog who is out of the puppy stage but not yet to lazy senior, Rocky could be the perfect fit for you! While it would benefit him to lose a few pounds (to help his joints as he gets older) we don't suspect he'll want to be running any marathons. Rocky will be quite content to snuggle up on the couch after a good walk or a jaunt around the backyard. I got Daisy from a friend of mine in October 2024 that couldn’t keep due to her kids health problems. She was gonna take her to the shelter but I took her in. I am currently getting ready to move and I can’t take her with me. She loves attention. When inside she’s laid back and lazy, she runs and plays outside with my little boy. She likes the sun and rolling in the grass. She don’t ever bark. She does shed. She is house and crate trained. She has a sore in her tail that the vet say is a benign cyst. Does not cause her any problems. I was told she is full pit bull but the vet said they think she’s mixed with something. She does not a have mean bone in her at all. Looking for something to give her a loving home.

Rich is our longest rescue resident and has a SPONSORED adoption fee! He is a super friendly, easy-going guy who we believe to be about 3 years old. He loves all types of toys, but chew toys are definitely his favorite. Rich is well out of the destructive puppy phase and great on walks - no pulling or tugging! He is crate trained and doesnt have accidents in the house. Rich is currently fostered with one other male dog and has spent a lot of time with a small breed dog as well. He has done well with most other dogs at events and meets with hopeful adopters, but he just hasn't found the right fit yet. He can easily be tested with cats, upon request. We suspect he'd do okay with dog-savvy cats. Additionally, we know Rich does well with kids as his foster family has young neighbors. Rich has completed his vet care (neuter, vaccines, microchip) and is ready to go to his forever home as soon as he finds his humans! His adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED ($0).
