Hello everyone, meet Rocky! This chunky monkey came to Woodford Humane looking for his second chance after his human passed away. If you are looking for a dog who is out of the puppy stage but not yet to lazy senior, Rocky could be the perfect fit for you! While it would benefit him to lose a few pounds (to help his joints as he gets older) we don't suspect he'll want to be running any marathons. Rocky will be quite content to snuggle up on the couch after a good walk or a jaunt around the backyard. I rescued sweet Cassius from the streets at 4 months old. Even though I rescued to her from a bad situation I have not been able to give her the social interaction and the exercise she needs as my schedule is just too hectic. I really want her to have a home where she has more exercise and hopefully other dogs with which to interact. I have no reason to think she is not good with other dogs or kids and the like but at the same time I cannot say for sure that she is because she has had such limited interaction with other animals and no interaction with children. As sweet as she is its hard to imagine she would be a problem for any living thing on Earth.

Meet Creed affectionately known as Blue by his foster family and get ready to fall in love. Creed is the definition of a gentle, easygoing puppy who just wants to be near his people and animal friends. Hes incredibly social and does beautifully with all kinds of animals dogs, cats, chickens hes even calm and respectful around bunnies! His sweet, observant nature makes him a joy to have around the house and yard. When it comes to routines, Creed is already showing what a smart boy he is. Crate training is perfect he happily settles in and loves sleeping in his crate. Its his cozy, safe space. Potty training is still a work in progress (as expected for a young pup), but hes making great strides just today he used the doggy door on his own to go outside and poop like a big boy. We love a self-starter! Creed would truly thrive in a home with a canine sibling. He takes so much comfort in companionship and is happiest when hes near his foster buddies especially Rowdy the dog or Toby the cat. Whether hes following them around or snuggling up nearby, he just loves having a friend. More than anything, Creed deserves a family who will love him as deeply as he loves them. He is such a good baby gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet sweetness. Rich is our longest rescue resident and has a SPONSORED adoption fee! He is a super friendly, easy-going guy who we believe to be about 3 years old. He loves all types of toys, but chew toys are definitely his favorite. Rich is well out of the destructive puppy phase and great on walks - no pulling or tugging! He is crate trained and doesnt have accidents in the house. Rich is currently fostered with one other male dog and has spent a lot of time with a small breed dog as well. He has done well with most other dogs at events and meets with hopeful adopters, but he just hasn't found the right fit yet. He can easily be tested with cats, upon request. We suspect he'd do okay with dog-savvy cats. Additionally, we know Rich does well with kids as his foster family has young neighbors. Rich has completed his vet care (neuter, vaccines, microchip) and is ready to go to his forever home as soon as he finds his humans! His adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED ($0).
