Story
Smiley is an XL Bully who came to us last fall when she was found as a stray after clearly being used as a breeding dog for several years. Smiley had a low grade Mast Cell Tumor removed from her hind leg. Thankfully, the pathology report of the follow-up surgery showed that the tumor was removed in its entirety, and she is expected to have a normal life span. Smiley is your typical happy-go-lucky Bully. Smiley has recently shown a dislike of crates, and we have gotten her a special crate, which will come with her as part of the adoption process. Smiley is in a foster home with many other dogs and does well with them. She loves attention, and she wears herself out by chewing on a Kong Wubba. Smiley is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her shots, and her adoption fee is only $180.00 Smiley is looking for a home, where she will be loved. Adopters must understand the breed. Due to her size, she is not a good fit for a home with small children. XL Bullies are highly sought after breeds, and we will be very selective when it comes to her placement. If you are interested in adopting her. please complete an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/SaveOneSoul/SaveOneSoulAdoptionApplication

Story
Onyx is a two year old, spayed, female pit mix who is up to date on vaccines. This is what her foster mom had to say about her: "As you can see in her pictures, she's a bit of a goof :) She loves long walks, but is also content to snuggle on the couch. She likes to be covered up with blankets. She doesn't like going out in the rain. She takes treats very gently and prefers soft over crunchy. She loves ice, and comes running every time I open the freezer:) She sits/waits while her food bowl is put down. We have been working on leash manners and she's doing well, though not yet perfect. We have also been working on recall and waiting at the door to go out, she's doing well with both. She likes car rides, but 100% needs to be restrained with a harness and seatbelt . She is potty trained and good in her crate.   She doesn't destroy toys and generally doesn't chew things that she shouldn't. She has a high (wildlife) prey drive and I don't think she could live with cats.  She is non-reactive to other dogs while out on walks. She had positive interactions with a Trainer friends' dog and another dog at the shelter. Both my friend and shelter staff believe that she will be fine with other dogs with proper introductions and supervision." Let's get Onyx adopted!

Story
Benny is not just a dog, he is my heart. We've been through everything together, including escaping a dark chapter of life. He's fiercely loyal, deeply intuitive, and incredibly smart. If you're lucky enough to earn his trust, you'll have a companion who will guard your soul like it is your own. Benny thrives outdoors. He's happiest when he has a job, patrolling a fence line, chasing off squirrels, or keeping watch over his people. He doesn't ask for much, just a space to roam, purpose, and someone who understands protective dogs. Letting go of Benny is the hardest thing I've ever done, but I'm doing it because I love him, because he deserves land to protect and peace to live in. If you can offer him that, you're not just taking in a dog, your continuing a love story. Benny has been trained and knows sit, down, heel and comes when he is called. He is house trained and crate trained and goes into his crate willingly. An extra-large crate will come with him if desired.

Story
Sadie is a sweet dog but I’m listing her for my step daughter. My step daughter took her in and she already has another dog and cat. She gets along fine with these animals and there have been kids from young to near teen who she plays with great too . She is just too big for her to walk and her budget has shrunk and she can’t afford her now either. She had been sharing her apt with a live in boyfriend and the relationship soured. She took her in basically as a favor so isn’t sure about how up to date her shots are. She can be protective, as pit bulls can be, but hasn’t bitten anyone or any dog. Sadie’s really a sweet heart just more than my stepdaughter can handle right now.

Story
I have to re-hold my lovable American pitbull terrier. He is a great dog house train never beat anybody aggressive when scared or threaten. He is good with dogs size. He is OK with Smaller dogs as long as somebody is watching them because he tends to be a bully. The reason I am rehoming is because I moved out of my house into a apartment and he needs space to Runaround.
