Story
Chappo is a great pet for a single person or a person with a partner. No kids, we have 3 kids and he doesn’t like being touched by them, and is unpredictable around them. He has never bit anyone but around certain people he does show signs of aggression like growling or barking at them. He does not act this way around all people, it just seems to be random. Which is why we cannot keep him anymore. He has gotten his vaccines as a puppy up to his first year, he is 2 years old since June 2025. We got him from a private seller online as a puppy and we have raised him around cats, and other dogs. He does not like any male dogs. He does do good around female dogs. We have tried everything to socialize him around other pets, kids, and people. He is just too unpredictable to be around anyone other than my wife and I. I think with the right people with more time to be around him one on one he would do best. He is fully potty trained and follows simple commands.

***COCOA IS A COURTESY POST, RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG.*** PLEASE CONTACT CHRIS AT (906) 286-0783 OR KATIE AT  (989) 858-7902 FOR MOREINFORMATION OR QUESTIONS   Hi!  My name is Cocoa and I am an approximately 3 year old blue nose pitbull.  I have had a rough time lately and have been bounced around a lot due to my owner’s housing situation and then he recently passed away.  I’m told I am the sweetest girl even though I have been through so much. At this time, I would do best as an only dog, but that may change once I have a permanent home and not worried about where I am going to go next.  I do well with kids and people and am looking for a family that I can settle down with and call my very own. If interested or if you have any questions, please contact Chris at (906) 286-0783 or Katie at (989) 858-7902. ##2517680##

Story
Meet Chad!  Chad is a 3-year-old Pit Mix with a big smile, a goofy personality, and an even bigger heart. I weight 43 lbs. This lovable guy is always ready to make you laugh and will happily trade his silliness for snuggles any day. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side—whether that’s on the couch or tagging along for your next adventure. He is very friendly, does great with kids, and is an all-around happy, people-loving boy. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. He has a good amount of energy, so he’ll thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and keeping him engaged. The best part? Chad will be heading into RPSM’s prison training program, where he’ll be learning his manners and polishing up his skills to be the best companion possible. He’s already amazing—this training will just make him shine even more. Chad is neutered and UTD on all his vaccines. HW, FT, and has a microchip of my own. RPSM recommends children 6 years and older. Chad will require a fenced in yard either physical or underground; if you are interested in adopting Chad, please go to www.rpsm.org to fill out an application.   ##2601344##

Story
This is my boy blue. He originally was rescued by me a little over 2 years ago when his previous owner lost her home to unfortunate circumstances. I have fostered him since. I learned alot while fostering him, and while he may be okay with other dogs/cats, he has a very playful side to him that some animals might not like so much (including cats), so preferably he is best to be placed in a home where he is the center of all the attention. He is a very thick dog, very powerful, but will also give you all the lovings and attention you could ever ask for. He is fixed, and roughly around 7 years old. He loves a good snowball fight, or even a summer time swim or playing in the sprinkler. ( honestly so cute). He has always been a good boy and he is very protective of his family, but likes to show you how big of a bark he has when other animals or people pass by. Blue has been looking for a forever home and were hoping to find the perfect fit!

Story
Meet Josie! Josie is a 1.5-year-old, 35lb Pittie mix with a bright, happy personality. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic obedience. Josie is an outgoing girl, but not overwhelming, and she has an impressive vertical jump (which is why she requires a privacy fence) and she’s currently working on greeting people with a polite sit. Josie lives with many other dogs in her foster home, but she has shown us there are some things she does not like to share .. such as her humans’ affection. Which is why she is labelled as needing to be an only pet in the home. She also has some prey drive toward cats and squirrels and is still learning better leash manners. Josie came to us from a small rural shelter in South Carolina. She has been thriving in her foster home and is a fun mix of adventure and snuggle partner. Black Dog Syndrome is very real, add to that she is also a pittie mix and needing to be an only dog and we know we are looking for a one in a million adopter. We know there is the perfect family or person out there who will appreciate her lust for life and sweet, loving, and loyal nature. Josie is looking for: • A home where she is the only pet • Someone who enjoys an active dog with a zest for life, but also a good cuddle Adoption Info: We adopt and transport throughout much of the United States.
