***COCOA IS A COURTESY POST, RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG.*** PLEASE CONTACT CHRIS AT (906) 286-0783 OR KATIE AT  (989) 858-7902 FOR MOREINFORMATION OR QUESTIONS   Hi!  My name is Cocoa and I am an approximately 3 year old blue nose pitbull.  I have had a rough time lately and have been bounced around a lot due to my owner’s housing situation and then he recently passed away.  I’m told I am the sweetest girl even though I have been through so much. At this time, I would do best as an only dog, but that may change once I have a permanent home and not worried about where I am going to go next.  I do well with kids and people and am looking for a family that I can settle down with and call my very own. If interested or if you have any questions, please contact Chris at (906) 286-0783 or Katie at (989) 858-7902. ##2517680##

Story
Hey there, I’m Zero! My foster family gave me that name because they say I remind them of the dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I was found wandering the streets of Louisiana and found myself scared and alone at a high-kill shelter. Luckily, Project Hope rescued me. I’ve made my way north and now I’m ready to find my forever family!I’m about 2 years old, weigh 45 pounds, and have short, fluffy black fur with some bronze mixed in. People say my deep brown eyes are pretty hard to resist. I’m probably a mix of a bully breed, Shar-Pei and Lab, but all I know is I’m 100% lovable and loyal. I live with my foster family in Saginaw, Michigan, and boy, is it a full house! There’s my foster mom, five human kids, two dog siblings (one’s a Great Dane, so she’s huge!), a cat and even a rabbit. I get along great with the other dogs, and I’m trying really hard to get used to the cat and the rabbit too. I also love every human I meet—big, small, young, old—I’m friends with everyone! When I’m not running zoomies in the backyard with the other dogs, I’m working on my training. I’ve already mastered “sit,” “here,” and “down,” and I’m learning more commands like “leave it” and “off.” My foster mom says I’m a quick learner, and with a little time and patience, I can do just about anything. Also, I’ll need a fully FENCED-IN YARD so I can run and play until my heart’s content! I love chewing on toys, especially horns, antlers, and stuffies, and I take treats gently. I sleep all night in my bed in my foster mom’s room without any accidents. I’m not a fan of getting on the furniture—no couches or human beds for me, thanks! I just like to be near you, whether it’s at your feet or next to your chair. I’m working on crate training, too. It’s not my favorite, but I’m getting better since I know my foster mom always comes back for me. Car rides make me a little nervous, but I’m improving there as well—I prefer hanging out in the back seat.   I’m a sweet, goofy and devoted pup who just wants to follow my people from room to room and be with them always. Could you be the one I’ve been waiting for? My adoption fee is $300, and I’m fully-vetted and microchipped. Questions about me? Email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. If you think we're a perfect match, fill out an adoption application at www.projecthoperescue.org.  I can’t wait to meet you!December 14, 2024, 9:09 pm

Story
Chappo is a great pet for a single person or a person with a partner. No kids, we have 3 kids and he doesn’t like being touched by them, and is unpredictable around them. He has never bit anyone but around certain people he does show signs of aggression like growling or barking at them. He does not act this way around all people, it just seems to be random. Which is why we cannot keep him anymore. He has gotten his vaccines as a puppy up to his first year, he is 2 years old since June 2025. We got him from a private seller online as a puppy and we have raised him around cats, and other dogs. He does not like any male dogs. He does do good around female dogs. We have tried everything to socialize him around other pets, kids, and people. He is just too unpredictable to be around anyone other than my wife and I. I think with the right people with more time to be around him one on one he would do best. He is fully potty trained and follows simple commands.

Story
Kilo is a male dog, white and Brown, microchipped. He is good with kids. But kids do need to not be all over him. He does give warning signs when he is touched out. He is okay with other dogs. He is not okay with cats. He is loving and laid back. He does need frequent potty breaks when hes out of a kennel. He is neutered. He is a loving dog and deserves a good home. I am moving and unable to keep him otherwise I would be.
