Story
Are you ready to rock and roll with the coolest canine in town? With 85lbs of good-boy energy, Stone is ready to rock your world and steal your heart with his stoic charm and playful antics! Stone may be wary of strangers at first, which comes with his role as your live-in neighborhood watch volunteer (he takes his duty very seriously), but once he gets to know you, he's the most rock-solid friend you could ask for. He is always on the lookout for his loved ones. One of Stone's favorite pastimes is adventuring the geological wonders of the great outdoors! Just don't forget his gentle leader, it helps keep his curious nature in check while exploring the terrain like a Boy Scout. But, it's okay with him if you want to skip the hike. Stone is happy to compromise, as he is a bit of a fetch fanatic. There are few things he loves more than chasing after a ball with boulder-busting enthusiasm, but beware – he's got a knack for turning those balls into slobbery masterpieces! You might want a few spares on hand just in case, unless you're content to rock the soggy look. But hey, it's all part of the fun! It's not all about high-energy activities for Stone. He's also smittin' with snuggle time! Unwinding to curl up with his favorite humans for some quality belly rubs and smoochy showers is arguably the best way to bring the day's events to a close. However, when it comes to furry friends, he is stone-cold selective. While he enjoys playing with some other dogs (he's mostly a lady's man), a slow kindling friendship with more of a laid-back personality is preferable. And as for cats, well, let's just say they're about as welcome as a pebble in his shoe. Your epic adventure together is just a Stone's throw away! Submit your adoption application at the MAS website link below. Be sure to mention Stone's name to meet this diamond in the ruff! Resilient, loyal, and gorgeous - it's triple threat Trinity here! And I am ready to impress you with my heart-of-gold spunk! Let's start with my ideal digs – none of that noisy, rambunctious stuff for me. I'm all about that laid-back adult-only vibe, free from the hustle and bustle. Let's just bask in some peace and tranquility; I relish in some cozy cuddles but feel free to do your own thing. I'm perfectly content entertaining myself with my toys or a quick snooze. When it comes to strangers, I don't exactly roll out the welcome mat. It takes time for me to warm up and trust new friends, but once I do, it's a friendship for life! To join my pack is the real deal. Just know that we will stick together through thick and thin, creating all the best memories and sharing snuggles like there's no tomorrow! As happy as I am to indulge in an afternoon laze, there's nothing quite like getting my heart pumping and feeling the wind in my fur! Ever seen a powerhouse like me tear through a room, giddy with the zoomies? It's a sight to behold, let me tell you! And adventures? Count me in! Whether it's a rugged hike or a road trip for a pup cup, I'm game for it! Wait, did someone say treats? I've got a bit of a weakness when it comes to food. Show me a tasty snack, and I'll show you what a pup with determination and a hunger that just won't quit! And hey, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I'm living proof that you can teach this ol' girl a thing or two! Well, what do you say? Ready to join the pack of a tough, yet totally silly, and downright lovable pup like me? Check out the MAS website below to fill out your adoption application and let's get this VIP party started! DOB 2/26/17 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Introducing the loveable pooch that defines "puppy-dog eyes": the charming, one-and-only, Mashed Potatoes! If you're seeking a companion who brings a mix of charm, excitement, and snoozey snuggles...Mashed Potatoes might just be the perfect addition to your family! Age is just a number if you ask Taters, at 10 years young, he has mastered the art of spunk and charisma living life to the fullest! Taters is passionate about playful activities, like chasing after a ball or going for engaging walks. And he isn't shy about letting you know when he is ready to go! While his enthusiasm might lead him to pull quite a bit on the leash, it's a small price to pay for the joy of witnessing his zest for life. Being on a special diet hasn't dampened his spirits, Taters is always ready to melt your heart with those soulful eyes in exchange for a tasty tidbit! Taters is just about as versatile as they come; in the past, he harmoniously lived with other dogs, kids, and cats (although he may try to chase any new feline housemates until he gets to know them better). His adoration for head, ear, and chest rubs is undeniable, making him the perfect confidant to curl up with for a well-deserved nap. His comfort extends to crate time when he's home alone, showcasing his well-behaved and considerate nature. His fun yet calm demeanor makes him an ideal addition to households of all shapes and sizes! Taters' heart might have a bit of a murmur, but his affectionate nature knows no bounds. Taters is a true testament to resilience and the power of love. He is patiently waiting to fill your home with love, laughter, and the unmistakable sweetness that only a senior dog like him, can provide. Story
Introducing: Bucky, the gentle giant with a heart of gold. Bucky earned the adorable nickname "Buddy" not just because it rolls off the tongue with a sweet ring, but because this lovable furball has an uncanny knack for turning every moment into a buddy-bonding experience. At about 75 lbs and 7 years young, Buddy embodies the perfect blend of maturity and youthful exuberance. When it's playtime, he taps into his inner puppy, showcasing a boundless enthusiasm for his beloved toys. Currently, Buddy is being fostered. Fortunately, that gives us an inside look at his daily routine; which includes leisurely walks, laps around the yard when excitement strikes, and his favorite pastime—finding the perfect sun-soaked spots throughout the house. Despite his imposing size, he's convinced he's a 15lb lap dog, making for amusing moments as he snuggles in for some quality cuddle time. As a true well-mannered friend and companion, Buddy has never shown a hint of aggression, even when it comes to sharing his food or toys. His relationship with his feline foster sibling is a testament to his adaptability letting his gentle nature shine through, demonstrating a healthy respect for his purring housemate. However, having faced challenges with some larger canine counterparts in the past, he now prefers the company of smaller dogs, navigating playdates with charm and grace. His interactions with kids are held with a gentle demeanor, though he understands the importance of maintaining a respectful distance. With a personality as warm as his fur, Buddy enjoys tender petting from the little ones with patience and affection. While his enthusiasm may briefly overshadow his manners when guests arrive, Bucky's excitement quickly settles into a warm, welcoming demeanor. It takes him just 10 to 15 minutes to transition from exuberant greetings to a more relaxed, sociable state, proving that beneath the initial burst of energy lies a well-behaved and loving canine companion. In Bucky, you'll find a loyal friend who embodies the perfect balance of playfulness, gentleness, and unwavering affection. If you're looking for a loyal friend who embodies the perfect balance of playfulness, gentleness, and unwavering affection...make your way to the MAS website (below) to submit your adoption application today! Story
"Already know you that which you need" - Yoda (the wise little green master from Star Wars) The one that you need is definitely me. I am more of a young padawon Yoda, in training to be your best friend! Even though I don’t hear much of anything, love and play are universal languages that we can figure out together! You could say I am a very social guy, I have met some other dogs and cats at MAS and have done awesome. I can get a little rambunctious though, so I would probably be best in a home without kids. Not every dog appreciates my hardcore play style either, but I have made several doggy friends hanging out at MAS. I am ready, willing, and able to use the force to take on adventures and overcome the evils of your stressful day! I can be an absolute goofball when I am outside playing (I love to be outdoors romping around in the yard). But I also love to get attention and curl up afterwards, maybe we can movie marathon with the best movies of all time…you guessed it, Star Wars! If Star Wars isn’t your thing though (we will agree to disagree), I am happy to hang out with you anyways and soak up your affection while you watch whatever else. "No greater gift there is, than a generous heart" - Yoda An adoption application you must fill out today! DOB: 5/1/2021 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Story
Meet Ant Man Step aside Paul Rudd, because here comes the real Ant Man! There is one word that best describes Ant Man, and that word is “goofball”. Full of energy and always down to play, Ant Man is the sort of positivity we all need right now! In between bouts of high-octane play Ant Man loves to curl up next to his favorite people and cuddle. Ever since coming to Mackenzie’s he has been working on refining his manners and has improved a lot! He knows quite a few commands such as "sit", "stay", "come", "down", and "shake" and has adjusted to wearing a gentle leader while walking to remind him to not pull so hard on his leash. In the right home he could become quite the well-mannered gentleman! Ant Man has a lot of love to give - but not to cats. A cat-free home is needed. He loves to play with toys, go for car rides, and play at the beach. He also prefers quiet walks at more secluded places because when he sees other dogs, he tends to get a bit overstimulated. He has some allergies but ever since starting his special diet they have been kept under control and he has felt great! If Ant Man sounds like the kind of dog you need in your life, submit an application so that you can come out and meet him! He is sure to brighten your day! DOB - 11/4/2019 MYM Canine-ality color is: Green Go Getter! For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.
