Story
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE Andor is a sweet, easy little guy looking for a loving forever home. He loves other dogs. He is great with kids and adults. He can be an independent player or adapt to other dogs style of play as well. He is crate trained and his potty training has been easy. Any family would be lucky to have him. He loves to explore his fosters bug back yard so he would prefer a fenced yard to explore in his furever home too. Preadoption applications can be filled out online at www.luvnpupz.org/applications It takes up to 14 business days to process an application to adopt from the rescue not a specific dog as we strive to place the right dog in the right home based on each individuals needs and personalities. We are a home based foster rescue. We have meet and greet events for some available animals on the weekends. Please watch our facebook page ( facebook.com/luvnpupz ) for locations and which pups will be there. Adoption fees are $300 - It includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and spay/neuter at our vet when old enough.May 19, 2025, 8:28 am

Story
Meet Gemma! Female grey and white pitty mix Estimated DOB 03/2021 Gemma was pulled from a county shelter where she was struggling in such a busy environment. She will need an experienced adopter who is willing to continue the work being done with her foster. She has some separation anxiety, we believe from being abandoned at some point in her life. She's a STAGE FIVE clinger. She would not do well in a home with cats. We are unsure about dogs as we are taking it very slowly. She is not reactive to the bigger foster dog in her home but definitely reactive to the smaller dog through the door. She loves going for car rides but has this weird quirk where she likes to have her window down and she bites at the air blowing past. She loves to sleep under the covers and she does this most gentle paw at you to let you know that she needs you to lift up the blanket to let her in. While she does have separation anxiety, she doesn't destroy anything other than to sometimes tip over the food and water dishes. She does bark at thunder. Location: Gemma is currently in a foster home. Medical: All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on age approriate vaccines (rabies, distemper, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella), microchipped, negative heartworm tested, given flea/tick/heartworm prevention and dewormer, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption. If you are willing to give this great girl a chance, fill out an application to meet her at www.figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt

Story
Meet Goose! Male brown and white pitty mix Estimated DOB: 07/2023 Updated bio information (3/15/25): Goose is very sweet and can get excited to see new people, but is very gentle and has great house manners. He takes medication nightly for anxiety but his current foster sees it more as boredom rather than anxiety. We're hopeful in the right home that he'll be able to be weaned off of these. He skin picks when he's bored. Initially it seemed like it could be allergies, but everywhere that's covered with a sweater is healing and everywhere that's not...he still struggles with. He would excel with a job. He has toys and blankets, but is not really interested in the toys the way some other pups are. His current foster hasn't really seen him rough play at all and she has 3 dogs of her own plus fosters (both cats and puppies) Unless the other dogs are really pushing him to play, she hasn't seen the rough play behavior. He's 150% solid on crate and potty training. __________________________________________________________ Goose was on the euthanasia list at Michigan shelter and we were able to pull him after finding a foster at the last minute. This guy is good with everything - dogs, kids, cats (he's afraid of them) and of course humans. He is very high energy and large. His fosters are working with him but he does like to jump up on people so may knock young children down. He will need someone who will be able to exercise him or that has a high energy dog who plays rough like he does. Location: Goose is currently in a foster home. Fill out an application at www.figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt if you are interested in adopting him.

Story
Are you looking for a young pup to have adventures with?  Look no further than Mocha!  This American Pitbull Terrior is ready and waiting to go.  She likes to spend quality time camping with her foster mom and loves every second of all the new smells and things to see.The catch, if you have leather seats you better have a blanket or towel, she doesn't want to slide...lol    Mocha is about 1 year old, house trained, crate trained, working on her recall with an E-collar and loves kids.  She has a goofy personality and so much love to give.  She can get over-excited so she still needs more guidance on proper manners, but she's the best snuggler.  She even knows the commands "sit" and "wait".   Hard to believe this sweetheart has been her since January! Help this little girl find her forever home!  Mocha has been through extensive E collar training that is why her adoption fee is 375.00.
