Story
Oscar is sweet as can be, despite coming to us in rough shape. Now that he's all stitched up, he's ready to rock and roll. Great on leash, he has little interest in cats but could eat treats all day. Once his wounds heal, he'll be even more handsome. Oscar is ready to find a forever home where he can leave his past behind, and spend hours getting loved on in between sniffy adventures.

Story
****Please read below of our amazing Floyd. Floyd was found wandering our parking lot with a leash and a harness on back in August 2023!! No microchipped at that time and no owners ever came for him. He is very energetic, does good with other dogs when slowly introduced and does ok with cats. He does bark at new people and dogs but he is a goofball and is sweet once he gets to know you. He has grown so much and is such a smart boy! Daniele Ruley our Dog trainer has been working with him on his leash manners and teaching this young man some tricks as well. Floyd is very energetic, but he's still a puppy. We guess around 7 months old. We believe Flody to be a Pit-bull type dog possibly mixed with Jack Russell. Feel free to call us at (505)662-8179 for any questions about Floyd, or you can stop by any day except for Wednesday between 11am- 5pm to meet with him. Floyd is located at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter, address 226 East Road Los Alamos, NM 87544

Story
Hi I'm Pingo Montoya! My friends at the shelter say I'm a senior dog, but I know I can give the young pups a run for their money! I walk well on a leash, know sit, and love affection. But my real passion and favorite part of each day is FETCH! Anytime I'm brought to the play yard I run straight to the nearest ball and I'll play as long as someone will let me. I even insist on bringing a ball back to my kennel with me and I am quite proud of my collection! If you've got a soft spot for frosted face puppies, please come down and meet me! I can't wait to join a family all my own.
