Both these sweet girls were found out on the streets of NW Tulsa. We saw them in the same spot for about a week and that’s when we knew they needed us! They’re sisters. Seem to be inseparable but I know that whatever works out for them they will be okay if that have to split up. They are VERY sweet. Very cuddly. They are good with our two dogs- one is 5yr old one is 1yr old. I’m unsure if they’re good w kids but they love people so far so I’m assuming they would. They have been sleeping peacefully in the crate at night, no crying at all. And they have been going potty outside. They seem to be afraid of doors? Not sure what’s happened to them before us. But we carry them in and out the door. Just need some training and adjustments to indoor life I’m sure. No telling how long they’ve been on the streets! Making this while I wait for rescues to help out, but I’ll be fostering in the meantime. Please reach out if you are interested in either baby! Requiring meet ups and small $ fee.

CindyCindy, she’s a toughie. Cindy has been with us a year now. She came in as a feral pup, completely missing her window for socialization. She makes progress, but it’s slow and steady. Her siblings were all adopted, they found that special someone who will give them the time and space they need to bloom. But not Cindy, not yet at least. CindyCindy has her ways. She won’t eat from a bowl, just the floor. She likes things done how they’ve always been done. She likes butt and head scratches. She’s accepted that people like her. Maybe she won’t be the prancing pony, happy-go-lucky pup that bounds into your arms when you come home. But she will greet you with a nod of acceptance. Cindy loves other dogs. She will play, she will snuggle. She enjoys exploring the backyard. But change, that’s still hard. There’s someone out there though who has the perfect setup for her. A quiet house, a patient heart, and welcoming smile. Till then, Cindy is fine where she’s at. But a home all for her, that would be a Christmas miracle.

Andouille is shy girl initially. She would do best in a home with other dogs who can help her to adjust to her new home. She will bond strongly with her people and will needs continued socialization to adjust to new people. She needs someone who is able to help her learn that new people aren’t meant to be feared, but embraced because they can bring treats and belly rubs. Maybe she’ll never be outgoing. We would recommend no young children at this time. Once she trusts you though, it’s hard to get her to stop loving you. You get tail wags, kisses, hugs, and cuddles. It’s just the understanding that first, Andouille won’t want anything to do with you. Is there anyone out there that can give this girl a chance? Just some time and patience and trust?

Monty is crushed. For a month, his dream came true. He was in a home with two adults and a child who were fostering him. He thought he got the jackpot. We all thought he had found his forever home. They realized that a small child and a big boy were a lot to handle at one time. Sadly he is back in boarding as we have no open fosters. He is over a year old and 80 pounds. Don’t let his size fool you. He is a gentle giant. He is fully trained and passed with flying colors. (He is very proud of himself in the photo). He is kennel trained. He can pull on the leash but knows better. This boy is a gem. He is one I would keep if I could but hoarder is apparently a bad thing. Who knew? He followed the child around like she hung the stars and moons. He tried to eat the rocks she fed him. (She thought they were treats and we did not let him). Bless him for trying to make her happy.

A day in the life of Manny Jenkins By Manny Jenkins. Every day I wake up refreshed. I like sleeptime, because it comes right before outsidetime and FOODtime. After FOODtime is more outsidetime and then my favorite time. Friendtime! I love my friends, and my foster mom & dad. We have the best time together. So much fun that I need more sleeptime. Sometimes we go places and I am happy to meet new friends. Some of them have treats. I like that. More friendtime, then it's FOODtime! Outsidetime, I am pretty good at potty training, which makes mom happy. Insidetime & darktime mean more sleeptime, so I can wake up to FOODtime! My Favorite!
