Meet Sunflower! Age: 9 Weight: 37lbs Sunflower is a gentle and sweet lady who may be nearing retirement age but most definitely doesn't want to hear you say she's over-the-hill. This ageless beauty isn't ready to be counted out just yet. Sunflower still enjoys her (short) walks and (long) snoozes in the sunshine. And she most definitely still wants to be a part of your everyday life - even if that just means she enjoys the view from her comfy bed. Sunflower will lay calm and content while she's brushed or petted, and she will look up at you with eyes that seem to want to tell a story. This lady has a life we'd love to hear about, if only we spoke the same language. We imagine Sunflower puttering around her new home a little every morning before settling into a soft, warm spot for the rest of the day. Landry is one of those sadly and insane stories of a dog spending month after month at a small rural shelter and constantly facing the chance of being the next one euthanized.  The shelter workers were determined to not let that happen.  They fought and they finally won the threat of him never leaving when they found a foster lady to take Landry and keep him safe out of the shelter and helping him search for a home.  This boy was so upset at the shelter because it is not a good environment to live when you just want to play and run and of course there is no room to do that in a small kennel!  The shelter people KNEW that Landry was a dog they needed to help save.  Yes he is a Pitbull mix….but his heart is that of a Golden Retriever temperament. Landry has proven himself to be a great boy and just as friendly and loving with people as a Golden Retriever would be.  He is exceptional with kitties and EXCELLENT with other dogs! This boy just wants to have fun and help everyone around him to enjoy life together with him.  Landry is already neutered, HW-, has 4 rounds of vaccines currently and rabies all done!! He’s 100% ready for his forever home! He does great sleeping in a crate at night and loves snuggle and belly rub time!! Landry is 40ish pounds, and is truly NOT a big dog at all. He’s a short stocky boy that is estimated to be around 8 months. She came into rescue when her owner passed away.  She took a few days to settle but once she did… watch out.  . She’s silly and playful and will sing all the songs when we wake up.  .  She chases and loves to chase.  Let’s get this girl a home  She deserves it.. and so much more  The sweetest girl is still looking for her forever . She doesn’t need a kennel. Loves to go for walks. Treats are her favorite . She does well with dogs that give her space, big or small. Chloe loves the sunny weather. She will hang outside as long as you let her .Chloe was previously adopted and while she was there, was great with the cat! . Her favorite sleeping spot is the back of the couch on a squishy blanket. Chloe is a 6-8 year old mixed breed dog. She’s about 50 lbs with squatty legs. Chloe is mostly a couch potato . When she gets the zoomies… watch out. . She tends to run over anything in her way. Chloe is up to date and spayed. She does have some allergies. She takes daily medication to help. She’s a white dog who loves to roll in the grass … it’s really cute when she does it.No kennel needed. She REALLY is not a fan of them. Chloe has some hip issues so no long walks or hiking needed. . She’s taking some preventatives to help  Her forever home would be best with older kids, smaller calmer dogs ok, no idea on cats?!? Give her a bone to chew and she’s happy!!More things I’ve learned about Chloe….  She doesn’t need a kennel… she needs bones to chew on and she’s so content all day while I’m working... She HATES storms and thunder and lightening…. She curled up next to me over night while the crazy rolled through... She loves chasing balls… but never really gets them... She is learning about routines and is eating so much better! She has a favorite soft and squishy blanket... She loves to nap on the back of the couch like a cat … a large playful cat... She loves to be outside but really loves to inside. Lays in front of the fan... She snores… not does she snoreShe would be perfect for a family that doesn’t need a crazy active dog. She has some hip issues that cause her to limp a bit. When she runs around, she gets sore (ps… so do I.. us older gals). Another dog would be good for her… she plays and uses her voice quite a bit.
