Good with cats: unknown Good with kids: Can be a little nervous and shy, would do best with older respectful children. Housetrained: yes and crate trained This precious girl is more than ready for her home! She can be a little shy meeting new people, but if there is another dog around she wants to be your best friend! Speaking of dogs, Polka loves pretty much every dog she meets! She's done well with large and small dogs making her the perfect companion for your furry friends! In the home Polka is very respectful, housetrained, and crate trained. She loves to play but is just as happy to take a nap on your couch when she's tired. She enjoys playing in the yard, walks, and anything treat related! Polka has proven to be an amazing companion and she's now ready to find her new best friend! Polka is currently in a foster home. Bootsie was found as a stray puppy and she had a terrible case of Demodectic mange. The woman who found her brought her to us as she couldn't keep her. We started her on her healing journey and now her coat is beautiful and shiny! We were a little stumped as to her breed mix. We could tell she had Pit Bull but those ears! We knew there had to be something else. We had a couple of DNA tests donated to the rescue so we decided to use one on her. Turns out she is American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bull and German Shepherd, hence the ears! She is loving and faithful like the Pit and smart as a whip like the Shepherd! She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained and house broken to our doggie door. She's still a puppy at about 9 months young. She absolutely loves little children so a family with kids would be ideal for her. Wouldn't you just love to call this girl your own! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $500

Athena is 3 years old, she’ll be 4 on April 22nd. Shes a very sweet and cuddly baby, she does not know what personal space is. Shes been having some health issues lately, low appetite and weight loss. We are working with a vet to figure out whats wrong. She has been raised around cats her entire life; however, recently she has attacked both of her cat siblings out of the blue. The 1st older cat is ok, but we did lose the younger one. I want nothing more than to keep her but I am moving to Colorado in April and the person im moving in with has 2 other cats plus my cat. I am afraid to put them at risk. She really is a very sweet girl and the biggest baby, shes afraid of the ceiling fan. This was completely out of the blue and I dont have the resources to give her the care she needs. I really think she could thrive in a house with no other animals who can give her all of the love and care she needs.

He’s been sharing a pen with a Boxer, though we feed him separately to avoid any food aggression.
