Story
She showed up at someone's home in Cheatham Co. and was fostered a few weeks until we connected via the shelter's Facebook page. Her background is unknown before we got her Dec. 2023 Her nipples were pronounced, so obviously she had recently had a litter. She has been regularly cared for at Kingston Springs Animal Hospital. Our vet thought she was 3-4 years old based on her teeth, but a dog trainer believed she was under 2 based on her behavior. We had several visits with a trainer, but we have been unable to alleviate her anxiety. She is VERY sweet and cuddly. We love her! She has gotten along with our 14 year old pittie, but they have had some recent disagreements. We have an active toddler and she is great with her! We've never feared her hurting our daughter. She struggles with anxiety and we simply do not have the time to provide her with the care and attention she needs. Her new owners must have time and knowledge on how to invest in this precious pup!

Meet our sweet boy who just turned 2 years old! He’s a loving, energetic dog who has brought a lot of joy to our family. He does great with kids in the home and is crate trained, which has made daily routines much easier. He has a high energy level and would really thrive in a home with more space to run and play than our apartment can offer. He loves activity and would do best with an active family or someone who can give him plenty of exercise and stimulation. To help make his transition easier, he will come with his crate, bed, food, and bones—everything he’s familiar with. We want to make sure he goes to a home where he can truly thrive and get the space he deserves. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion and have the room for an energetic pup, he could be a great fit!

Story
Brad Pitt was dumped in our neighborhood Christmas Eve 2023. The vet told us he was roughly a year old. We posted him on Facebook pages. We notified vet offices in our area. When we didn’t get any responses, we decided to get him ready for adoption. He’s been fixed and he’s up-to-date on shots. We got him microchipped. Unfortunately our two dogs will not allow him to integrate into our home setting. Currently, Brad stays in a downstairs bedroom and we take him to puppy daycare three times a week. We want to find him a home where he can integrate and not be separated. He is a sweet, handsome boy looking for his forever home.

🐾 Looking for a Loving Home for a Sweet Girl 🐾 We have had this sweet dog for about 4 years, and she truly is a loving, loyal companion. She will happily follow you wherever you go and loves being close to her people so if you enjoy a shadow dog she perfect for you! When we adopted her from the pound, she was treated for heartworms. They are now dormant, and she has been doing well since. She does have some anxiety and can be sensitive to loud noises. Car rides make her pant, and things like the vacuum or sudden movements especially from younger children can make her nervous. She is not aggressive at all, just shy and easily startled. She would do best in: A home with a fenced yard where she can run and zoom around. Someone who has time to give her attention and reassurance. A calmer environment without lots of sudden activity. She lives with smaller dogs and honestly thinks she their size; she enjoys being part of the pack and always wants to be first back inside

She’s mostly kennel trained and has not had any accidents in the home so far, especially with a consistent routine and regular outdoor breaks. She does great with other dogs and cats, and based on her calm, friendly nature, she would likely do well with kids too. Astra is pretty chill overall and enjoys being a good girl who fits in easily wherever she is.
