Story
Welcome Dozer to CCPAL Rescue. He is a gorgeous Pitbull/ American Bulldog. He is about 3 years old. He is decent on the leash and is kennel trained at the rescue. He would be a great companion for some lucky family. We would love him to go to a family that is familiar with the Pittie and or has had one before. He has energy but he is a great lounger as well. If you had a fenced yard, he could do a few laps and be ready to sit at your feet while you read. He would love to join you on jogs, walks or hikes. He also would like to it by you while you read. He is healthy, neutered and vaccinated. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get Dozer to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Tucker to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Tucker is a 1-year-old Pitbull dog. He was found as a stray on the construction site and a wonderful good Samaritan found him and is fostering him until he finds his forever home. His hair is super soft and his is gushy sweet. He warms up slow to new people and is very bonded and loyal to his human. He has an adorable underbite. He would be willing to wear outfits and hats if it is what his human wanted. He is great on leash and doesn’t pull and he is good in a car. He doesn’t shed and is a very very clean boy. He likes to keep his feet clean and really manages to stay out of any messes other dogs would normally get into. He is good in his crate and he is potty trained. He currently lives with other dogs but he is jealous of attention. His best home would really be where he can be the only dog and get all the snuggles from his family. I think a quieter home over the family that has a loud bustling group of people in it. He would be perfect for the single woman or man who would like a companion animal to walk, jog hike or cuddle with. He doesn’t need lots of exercise for happiness. He is an inside dog and loves to be in the house next to his person. He can stay in his crate while you work. He can also be trusted outside his crate. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Story
Welcome Ebony Ann to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 10-year-old Pit Bull mixed dog. Ebony Ann spent 6 years at Lytle Animal Care and Control. The Animal Control Officers loved her and hid her from euthanasia every time they were over crowded due to her very sweet personality. This time she was at the end of her very long rope. She called Lytle home and they were pleading for a rescue to take her to give her a chance at her forever home. CCPAL answered that call. 10 year old beauty. Good with all people, kennel trained, leash trained, loves car rides, affectionate and friendly with male dogs. She would be perfect for an older couple looking for a walking companion and one that would allow her to go in the car places. She would be great for a truck driver as a companion dog. She has a little growth on her bum but we would use her adoption fee to remove it. The vet has looked at it and says it is only a cosmetic procedure and does not cause pain and is not an issue for this dog. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 200. This girl has lots of love, walks and good times to give her new family. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Hi I'm Cheerio! I have been in rescue for a long time and I don't understand why. I'm the happiest and sweetest girl just looking for an active forever home. I love going for walks and hikes! I am a MAJOR water dog and love to lounge in the kiddie pool! I'm potty trained and crate trained and my foster mom says I'm super smart and food motivated so I would do well learning new commands and even tricks! I get along with other dogs of all sizes and love to play chase. I even get along with humans of all sizes but I might get a little too excited for the extra small ones. I'm working on learning not to jump but sometimes I can't help myself because I'm so happy! I just need regular exercise and mental stimulation to get my energy out and then I can settle down inside. Cheerio is a 3 year old Lab/Pit mix and weighs about 50lbs. She is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195.00 local or $395.00 out of state with transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. You can complete an adoption application for Cheerio at the following link: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog

Story
I am looking for an active alpha Pitbull owner with an owned house and a 6 ft fenced yard (to potty in only). I am an indoor dog that prefers dog beds and hanging out with my female human preferably to be spoiled like a King. I do not like dogs or cats. I cannot live with children under 12 years of age due to my high energy level. I will benefit from on-going dog training and I require two walks a day. I cannot live in an apartment or rental due to my breed.
