Story
**Currently fostered in Willis Texas** Kyra is a happy go lucky pup who found herself abandoned on the streets. She was emaciated, had poor skin and just full of worms. Thankfully an amazing woman found her and took her in. She got her clean, well fed, and fully vetted. Now, Kyra is ready to start the next chapter in her adventure! Kyra is just under 2 years old, and is a total hambone of a dog. We believe she is some kind of pitbull, retriever, hound mix. Basically what we call, a Texas Street Special! Whatever her breed, she is all adventure pup and very eager for life. Kyra loves people, I don't think she could ever meet a stranger. She's extremely loving, and enjoys cuddles on the couch, giving kisses, and looking cute for treats! We think she would even do wonderfully with children, though we suggest age 10+, not because she isn't a good girl but because her sheer size could pose an issue for smaller kids. Sometimes she gets the zoomies when excited and small children may be overlooked when she's zooming around. Kyra has done wonderful with other dogs as well. She is fantastic at her doggie daycare, does well at dog parks, and loves to play. While a bit too rough for smaller dogs, large friendly dogs and her bond almost immediately. At times, she can be quite vocal, but all of it is extremely playful despite the range of sounds she can make. We think Kyra would absolutely love to have another large canine brother or sister to enjoy life with! Kyra does very well with training, mostly due to the fact that she's so smart. She learns quickly, and at times, can be TOO smart. Like how she knows how to push the door open if it's not latched properly. She knows her basics such as sit, kennel, stay. Her only need for training is to have continued impulse control taught, as she struggles when she's over excited to stay in place. Though, which dog doesn't! She is fully crate trained, and is doing fantastic with her leash training. She is mainly Housebroken, but being such a big pup still, we suggest using a kennel until fully acclimated. Though she quite enjoys cuddling in the bed. Kyra is fully vetted, meaning she is current on all vaccinations and preventions. She is spayed as well as microchipped too. Story
His name is Blueford but we just call him Blue. My kids call him Booboo or Boo. He's very sweet, super great with kids & visitors that come to the house. We got him from a cousin of my husbands when he was about 3 months old. The vet estimates that Blue was born around May 2021, making him 2. Blue has been to Banfield Vet at PetSmart in Conroe, TX is up to date on his vaccinations. When they did the DNA test there it said he is 88% American Staffordshire(Pitbull) Terrier & 12% Boxer. Blue also has alopecia, a hair loss condition. Blue is still soft to pet. He loves to snuggle in bed. Blue is still intact, so he would need to be fixed. At this time we just do not have the funds to fix him. Additionally, we have three other dogs, 2 of whom are seniors & 1 who is close to a senior. Blue needs to be in a home as an only dog or the only male dog. As he is still intact he does have some issues with aggression towards other male dogs. Blue is house broken & can walk well on a leash.

Story
If you’re looking for an experienced long term foster Fern’s (aka “Queen Bee”) your girl! She’s had over a year in foster care and knows all the ins and outs of home life. Fern is a go getter and isn’t shy expressing her wants when she needs to go outside or reminding her humans it’s time for dinner. She loves her food and will finish her bowl in a flash! She even outsmarted the slow feeder bowl! But when it comes to her human’s food, she knows how to respect boundaries and keep her distance. Fern fits the bill If you’re looking for a protective companion and house mate. She loves her human’s attention and prefers to be in their presence where she can be treated as the queen of the castle! She adores lounging on the sofa next to her humans but is accustomed to spending the night in her crate and when her humans leave the house. This queen bee prefers just that, to be the queen of her castle and not to share with other canine companions. Her human’s attention is very important to her and sharing with others is a definite challenge for her! Being the protector of her humans, she is wary of strangers but will warm up to those who display a gentle and soft approach. With all this experience under her belt, Fern will make the perfect solo companion to anyone searching for a queen for their castle! Only experienced humans need apply with forever intentions for Fern and those willing to give updates! Thank you!
