Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Reggie is a beautiful boy and was found in terrible condition and he is just now getting back to his normal self and look. He’s weighing at 70 pounds and he isn’t back to his projected weight yet, he still has lots to go. Reggie is very playful and well mannered and obedient. He is leash trained and potty trained. Currently unpredictable when it comes to dogs. He loves people and personal affection. Hes a big foodie and doesn’t care what it is that you’re giving to him. Hes very sensitive and talks to people with his big bug eyes. Hes super sweet and loving and would be a very great companion.

Story
The sweet happy-go-lucky girl is Lady! She is a 1 year old Boxer mix who loves everyone. She gets along great with dogs, and she doesn’t know a stranger. Lady doesn’t seem to pay any mind to cats that we have walked past. This sweet girl came to us after having a litter of puppies, unfortunately even though Lady was an amazing momma, most of her babies passed away due to elements and parasites before we were notified that they needed help. She only has one sole survivor from the litter. We’ve spayed Lady so she will never have to go through that again! She is up to date on all shots and preventative, and heartworm negative! Please let us know if you’d like to meet this sweet sweet girl.

Story
We don't have a lot of backstory on Maxine's upbringing. She was rescued at 6 months old from a gas station parking lot as a stray in Fort Worth Tx by a friend of ours. We've had Miss Girl for about a year and some change now, and have noticed significant changes in her behavior that have led us to believe that rehoming her is the best option suited to give her a better quality of life. As a puppy, we maintained the idea that her use of teeth and hyperactivity would be something that would eventually subside with at home training and patience. Since moving to an apartment complex from a Home with a full backyard, she has developed aggression towards strangers, as well as other dogs and cats she encounters on walks. Maxine needs to be professionally trained and given a better chance at being her. Maxine would be more comfortable in a home with folks who are confident in training a a high maintenance girl like herself, hopefully in a large yard with another big dog that she tolerates.
