Story
Meet Dante: a 4.5-year-old American Bully with sweet eyes, a goofy personality, and endless love to give. He’s playful, adventure-ready, great with commands, crate-trained, and happiest when he’s by your side; whether that’s on a walk, running errands, or snuggling on the couch. Dante needs a new home soon, as his current owners are having to move out of state Unfortunately, because of this they can no longer care for him, so the right match would mean everything. He’ll thrive with someone who can give him plenty of attention and is comfortable investing in his ongoing care. If you want a loyal, silly, joy-filled best friend who makes every day brighter, Dante is your guy! Please note: Dante has spent his life alongside his best friend, Hazel. Their bond is deep, familiar, and comforting to them both. We kindly ask that whoever opens their home to Dante would also welcome Hazel, so they can stay together and continue their friendship.

Story
Meet Hazel, a beautiful 60lb Pocket American Bully who is essentially a ready-made best friend. At 4 years old, she has already mastered the manners most owners spend years training; she’s fully house and crate trained, knows her commands, and is the rare “triple threat” who is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs alike. Perfectly healthy and fully vetted, Hazel is a gentle, soulful companion who thrives as a loyal “nanny dog” and sidekick. She is only looking for a new home because her family is relocating, offering a lucky new owner the chance to skip the puppy chaos and head straight into a lifetime of easy, devoted companionship. Please note: Hazel has spent her life alongside her best friend, Dante. Their bond is deep, familiar, and comforting to them both. We kindly ask that whoever opens their home to Hazel would also welcome Dante, so they can stay together and continue the only companionship they’ve ever known.

Story
Marcie is a 2.5 year old pitbull mix that was rescued from the Walmart parking lot as a puppy. Marcie is very sweet and full of life! She has been a great indoor/outdoor dog these last 2 years. Unfortunately we fear we will not be able to give her the time and energy she needs due to having a 1 year old and twins on the way. I’m hoping to find a kind and loving home for her. She loves adventures and walking around outside with you but will also enjoy a long cuddle session on the couch with you or your kids! She is kennel trained and potty trained. She only has accidents inside when she gets too excited and has not been let out yet to potty. Marcie plays well with other dogs, children, and toddler! Has been around cats inside as well with no issues shown towards them.

Story
Romeo was dumped at our storage facility, along with his siblings and we were lucky to have found them. He was sick with Parvo when we brought him into the shelter. We nursed him thru, and he has grown into a big, happy boy. However, he does have some trust issues that have to be overcome with new people. He is terrified of meeting new people, so he will need and experienced and patient adopter. He will be a great dog once out of his shell, because we here at the shelter get to see how great he is, because we see it everyday. Playful, loving, he will be a great pet for someone who gives him a chance. Recommend he be in a home with no small children...older kids ok, no cats. He looks like he is mixed with chocolate lab, and his eyes match his coat.

Story
Meet Chong!A Loyal Boy with a Big Heart! Chong is a terrier mix and the devoted brother of Shadow. Like his sister, he’s come through some tough times—but his resilient spirit and loving nature have never faded. Chong is calm, sweet-natured, and a little more confident than his sister, often taking the lead when exploring new places. He loves going for walks, lounging in the sun, and getting gentle scratches behind the ears. He bonds deeply with his people and thrives in a home where he can feel safe, appreciated, and included. Chong is dog-friendly and would do well either on his own or alongside another easygoing pup—especially if it’s his sister, Shadow. He’s looking for someone who understands that the best things in life sometimes take a little time and patience. With his warm eyes and steady heart, Chong is more than ready to be someone’s best friend. To make an appointment to meet Chong, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call.
