Coco came to Elmore SPCA after his owner lost their housing. He is a busybody who needs lots of mental stimulation. But he is also a dog who loves to snuggle up and relax. If you are looking for the perfect hiking or running partner, we think Coco would be a great fit. He is affectionate, eager to please, and we believe he is a dog that will bond very strongly to his person. Being around other dogs with high energy seems to give him some anxiety, so we feel he will be selective about other dogs in his home, or would be best being the only dog. At first, Ryleigh can be very shy, and that sometimes looks like reactivity—but underneath, he’s just a dog who needs time, patience, and understanding. He thrives in a home with structure and consistency. Ryleigh may do well with another dog, but any introductions should be slow and careful. We don’t have experience with cats or kids, and given his energy and sensitivity, he’d likely do best in an adult-only home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to put in the work to help him feel safe and confident, Ryleigh could be your perfect match.
