Story
Blue is a 2-3 year old, neutered Pit Bull mix who has basic house manners.  He was a one-owner dog in a great home until a few weeks ago. We thought he'd be great for us with our other dog, but we later found out due to dog reactivity he will need to be a single-dog home. He seems to be insistent on being alpha and doesn't seem to respect a female owner. He's shown dog reactivity, and recently some aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. He's incredibly smart, super trainable, and has been very sweet in-home, friendly with people and kids. He needs a place where he can get his energy out and loves to sleep and snuggle. Blue is such a special, sweet pup!   This is a courtesy post.  Please contact Jo Lord at jolordbills@gmail.com or call 212-203-5909 with any inquiries. Megan (aka the one who steals slippers!) is a 12 week old Pit mix puppy looking for her forever home. This spunky black and white, with a touch of brindle, girl is just as sweet as they get. Like all puppies, she will need loving guidance to become her best self. She does great with dogs, kids and cats, however her puppy teeth are sharp! Megan is a very good listener and strives to please. She loves to play and explore. And, she is THE best at snuggling. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt. I just bet she won’t last long ❤️

Story
Mabel is an almost 2 year old, 50 lb. Pitty mix. Mabel has never met a stranger! She gets along very well with dogs and picks up on their social cues correctly. She is a champion snuggler and love bug! She loves walks and does great on a leash. She is housebroken, knows her name, come, sit and wait for her food. She has lived with cats and dogs and kids in harmony. She was the very best Mom to her puppies that recently adopted and now it’s her time to shine and find forever. Fill out an application at pottersangelsrescue.org/adopt for this sweetness.

Story
Meet Smallz! Smallz is a gorgeous 9-month-old pittie mix who came to live with us after his owner could no longer take care of him. He was the runt of the litter and was picked on, leaving him with some scars on his face. We had hoped to be his forever family, but after consulting with a professional trainer, we have come to understand that he needs a much more experienced dog owner. And after consulting with our cat, it's clear that he needs a home without cats. He displays all the snuggly traits of a pittie, as well as some of the more challenging ones. He needs a seasoned pittie/bully owner and a quiet home life. We live in town, have a cat, and are surrounded by homes with dogs... completely the wrong environment for this boy. When indoors and away from stimulation, he learns quickly and is motivated by play, praise, and treats (to a lesser extent). No resource guarding. He has a ton of love to give and will be very happy to sleep on your bed!

Story
Meet Denali! This handsome hunk of love is a real sweetheart. He's all braun with a little bit of brain. He's a big boy at 95 lbs, but he could afford to gain just a few more to put him at a healthy weight around 98-100 lbs. He has loved every person he has met. He does need a home without kitties. He does seem like he would do well with a mild mannered doggy friend.
