Story
Are you looking to add some handsomeness to your daily life? Look no further as Caboodle has the looks, the brawn, and the sweetest heart (Is he the whole kit and caboodle??). Originally a stray who was not claimed, this hunk is looking for a companion that will take him on walks, spoil him with a good toy, and loves to snuggle. While he’s a muscular pup, he walks very well on leash, and is getting familiar with wearing a harness. He’s not vocal often but when he is, it’s laughable as they are sounds of snorts and sweet howls. We mentioned he loves a good toy and those toys in his next home should be for strong chewers as he can make them go “poof” quickly. Since he’s new to us and just had a lump removal and neuter, we have not had a chance to have him meet another canine yet. With Caboodle`s prior history being unknown to us, we are not sure if he has any exposure previously to cats or children. He recently had an overnight with a staff member, and he rode great in the car, was polite and calm in her home, followed her like a shadow, and loved getting under the covers in bed. He`d be just as happy to take over your bed, and to be your constant companion.A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Caboodles`s $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Caboodle.

Story
Ramsey, my loyal companion, is a well-mannered 7-year-old German Shepherd Pit Bull mix. He was given to me 5 years ago by a family who couldn't provide him with the care and attention he deserved. Since then, I've had the pleasure of showering him with love and care. Ramsey is a well-behaved dog who responds well to commands and has mastered several tricks, including sitting, pawing, lying down, rolling over, and giving high fives. However, he may not be suitable for households with other pets. Ramsey is better suited for families with older children, and he is both potty trained and crate trained.

Story
Precious is a sweet, affectionate girl with a big personality! At just 9 months old, she’s still very much a puppy—full of energy and enthusiasm. She came to us from an older couple who could no longer care for her, and now she’s looking for a home that can give her the training and attention she needs. Precious will grow into a big lap dog and would thrive with an owner who can help her learn leash manners and basic commands. She’s not a good fit for homes with small children or cats, as her size and energy can be overwhelming. However, with patience and dedication, she could do well with dog-savvy cats and a compatible canine friend after a proper dog-to-dog introduction. If you’re ready for a loving, playful companion and have the time to invest in her training, Precious could be the perfect addition to your family!

Story
This is BamBam! An 8-month-old pittie/cattle dog mix with a goofy personality. He has not had much exposure to the world and is looking for a patient family that is willing to slowly show him all the fun things life has to offer! Bam is shy when meeting new people, but once he’s comfortable, his true personality comes out. He’s very playful, clumsy, likes treats and to sit next to the people he loves. He’s currently getting acclimated to wearing a leash. It will take time, but we’re confident he will be a good walking companion in the future. We have limited history on Bam so we’re unsure what he’s like with other dogs, cats or children. BamBam is very proud to show off his "sit" command. If you would love to meet BamBam, please click the grey "Apply for Adoption" button and fill out the adoption profile. We will review your profile and get in touch to schedule a time for you to come in.
