Story
Hi! I'm Kahlua (6F). I LOVE attention, snuggling, kisses, and fetch. I'm looking for someone with a big yard to play in who doesn't mind having me as the only animal in their house. I have so much love for my people that I can be very protective which unfortunately makes me unsociable to other animals. My underbite and big ears make me a big cutie and you'll never have to sweep in the kitchen ever again! - Kahlua was adopted into a home with another pup, who she was great friends with for years. As she has started to age, her anxiety and behavioral issues have increased. She went through a long training program and has some solid general obedience skills, but she has unfortunately proven unable to share her home with another animal with these developments. For both dogs sake, I am sadly looking to rehome her where she can be the center of attention. She is an incredibly affectionate (to humans) pup and when she looks at you with her big eyes you'll know she loves you. -

Story
Kingsley is an endearing, loving, energetic dog. He comes from down south, with no knowledge of what his life was like in his young life. We adopted Kingsley 2 years ago. He’s a beautiful addition to our family, close with our kids and our other dogs. He is capable of becoming friends with other dogs and humans with assistance (very treat motivated). He is very protective of his home and his food. In most cases, this can be an excellent quality. Unfortunately, we live on a busy road with many neighbors. He has a history of nipping the kids in our community and biting the dogs of others. He barks often throughout the day due to the sounds and excitement in our area.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Introducing Lilah, the pint-sized powerhouse with a heart of gold! This American Pit Bull Terrier, at just 3 months old, is a 15 lb bundle of blue/grey and white fur ready to steal your heart. Lilah's enthusiasm for life is unmatched. Whether she's bounding through the yard or engaging in a spirited game of tug-of-war with her beloved rope toy, she approaches every moment with joy. And after a day filled with adventure, there's nothing she loves more than snuggling up beside you for a cozy cuddle session. In the realm of training, Lilah is a quick learner. She's already mastered the sit command and is making great strides in leash walking. Plus, she's a champ at crate sleeping—although she may need a little extra guidance on keeping her crate dry during the workday. Lilah is eager to learn new things with the support of a patient and loving family. With her friendly disposition, she gets along famously with cats, dogs, and kids alike, making her the perfect addition to any household. If you're in search of a playful, affectionate, and endlessly charming companion, look no further than Lilah. With her boundless energy and eager-to-please attitude, she's ready to bring love and laughter to her forever home. So, if you're prepared for a lifetime of joy and adventure, Lilah is the pup for you!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 16, 2024, 2:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ROSCA was saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024. She along with 3 other pitties that he was saved with are extremely emaciated with pressure sores that they are currently on medications for. ROSCA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of 4 April 2023 and in April 2024 weighed of 32 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. This sweet girl has a lot of healing to do, but is so loving and gentle. She needs an extra special family who can give her the life she deserves and help her forget the abuse, neglect and starvation she has suffered. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue   YouTube channel  and   photo albums on our Facebook page   to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. ROSCA is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7.
