Story
Lucy Gray is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who came to us as a stray. While we don’t know much about her past, we’ve been getting to know her and she’s been quietly stealing our hearts ever since. At around 3 years old, Lucy Gray is calm, affectionate, and easy to love. She’s a bit reserved at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet nature shines through. She’s been picking up on basic commands and seems eager to learn more — especially when treats are involved! Lucy can be a bit selective with other dogs, so she’d likely do best as your one-and-only or with a slow, proper introduction to a compatible canine friend. She doesn’t ask for much — just a calm home, a cozy spot to relax, and someone to show her what love and consistency feel like. Lucy is not spayed - so her adoption fee would be $150 with a spay deposit of $100 - once Lucy is spayed and proof is sent to CHA - that $100 will be refunded.

Story
Axel is a 2-year-old neutered male Pit Mix who is ready to leave his past behind and start a bright new chapter with a loving family. Originally transferred from another shelter where he was being overlooked by potential adopters, Axel is now on the lookout for a home that will cherish him for the wonderful dog he is. Axel is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle nature and a heart full of love. He’s great with other dogs, especially when introduced slowly and properly. With a bit of time to adjust, Axel enjoys the company of his furry friends and would do well in a home with other dogs who respect his space. Axel is still a young dog and has lots of love and energy to give. He’s looking for an active family who can provide him with the attention, exercise, and care he needs to thrive. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or cuddles on the couch, Axel will be by your side, offering loyalty and affection.
