Story
Meet Francis!Francis is approximately 3 years old, weighs around 54 pounds, and we are guessing he is possibly a Boxer mix. Francis was found tied up, and abandoned by his owners at a local fairground building. Animal control went to get him, and brought him to our shelter so we could start finding him a new home. Overall Francis is a great dog that likes to go for walks, play with most other dogs, and seems to do well around everyone he meets. He can be a bit nervous around men when he first meets them, but he warms up quickly with some treats. Francis seems to know a couple commands, and keeps a clean kennel here at the shelter.Francis' adoption fee is $200, and he is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, and will receive monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention while in our care. Story
Mooser! Moose Man! Moosie! These are just some of the nicknames Moose has earned from our amazing volunteers during his stay with us. Moose is approximately 6 years old, and he is a Bully breed mix. He is a big snuggler with anyone he meets, loves to eat snacks, and is big on being lazy. Moose may be a big boy, but truthfully he is fairly low maintenance. He enjoys the occasional walk, but would rather lay on a couch all day. His other favorite activity is eating peanut butter out of Kong toys, or chewing on bones. Moose would do best in a home as the only pet in the home, but he could do well in a home with kids.Moose's adoption fee is $200, and he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm, microchipped, and he will receive monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention while in our care. Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 7/30/23 Still available!! 1/27/23 Snoopy was a stray who was taken in temporarily, until a forever home can be found for him. We believe he is about 8 mo old and is possibly a lab/pit bull mix. He is a sweet natured little guy who is affectionate and loving, and is good with other dogs. He is crate trained and sleeps all night in his crate without a fuss. He is a very good boy and just needs a home of his own. Good with other dogs and cats! He will be neutered and utd on vet care before adoption. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
