Bruno came into ACHS as a stray on 4/21/23, he is very sweet and calm with people however he is not currently suited to be housed with other dogs. Bruno has shown dog aggression at least in the shelter setting, there is a possibility with constant work and training that he can get over this! If you can give Bruno a great home that will work with him please give us a call at (608)339-6700.

He is crate trained and sleeps all night in his crate without a fuss. He is a very good boy and just needs a home of his own. Good with other dogs and cats! She loves to explore, romp and play with foster siblings. And eat! She loves cuddles and belly rubs, and has the softest coat. But, then ready to go play or eat. She gets along well with foster families other dogs, both big and small. Old and young. Millie is doing good with potty training and will use pads at night. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime, Zoom and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

Story
Hey! I’m Walter! I’ve been with Fetch for awhile now, and I’m STILL looking for my forever family. Let me reintroduce myself:   I’m a happy boy who likes to be a part of what’s going on. Whether we’re making dinner, you’re showering, or doing laundry - doesn’t matter to me as long as we’re together. I can supervise any project you got goin on! I am always excited to show you what I have. I am kennel/crate trained and I know to do my business outside! I’m strong, like you can tell I work out and all that. I know how to walk nicely on a leash but sometimes I seriously forget it’s even attached, this nose of mine is soooo powerful it’s crazy. I am special, my foster mom says it all the time. Just to make sure I get enough love and attention, it would be best if I am the only “good boy” in my forever home. I run like a graceful rhino and my white hair is so silky soft you won’t be able to resist loving on me. I have gotten myself into a couple situations and I really want to leave my troubled past behind me and move forward with people who get me. People who know tell me that I need structure and leadership: if you let me be the pack leader, I will take advantage of that situation.   I love training and learning, my foster mom is kick butt cool at it, she has lots more information for you since I am sooo special, so apply and let’s get this party started!   Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt   Name: Walter   Sex: Male   Breed: Pitbull/Basset Hound mix   Age: 4 years   Weight: 50 lbs   Current on vaccines: Yes   Altered: Yes   Microchipped: Yes   Adoption: 200   Good with Cats: No   Good with other Dogs: Prefers to be the only dog   Good with Kids: Possibly   *Special Requirements: Needs to be the only dog in the home.   *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. Story
Hey, I’m Raine! And I’m Blossom! Let us re-introduce ourselves, as a pair!! We have decided we just can’t be without each-other.    Raine here, I have a hard time making new canine friends so we need a home where Blossom and I would be the only dogs. Outside of not being good at making new dog friends I’m one of the most relaxed, easy-going gals you’ll ever meet! I love ALL humans. I love snuggles. I’m house trained and just perfect in my crate.    Now my turn! Blossom here, I was feral when the fine people at Fetch took me in! While I know I love ear scratches and playing, I still take some time to warm up to new human friends. Raine really helps me with this since she’s so outgoing! I LOVE to play and when I warm up to you, I’m one of the goofiest gals you’ll find. I am great in my kennel and house trained too! (Just sometimes if I’m meeting someone new or in a meeting place I may stress potty, but that’s only in high stress situations)    We are some of the silliest, funnest gals you’ll meet! I know we’re asking for a lot out of a family but we think we’re worth it. Once we know and trust you, we’re both good off leash and neither of us mind kitties either! If you don’t currently have any other pups and you’re willing to open your home to us, we won’t let you down!    Apply to meet us! Raine will be happy to meet you and let me (Blossom) know if you’re ok peeps for us.    Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt    Names: Raine and Blossom Ages: 3.5 years & 3 years Weight: 40 lbs & 30 lbs Breed: Bully mix & Shepherd mix Sex: Females Altered: Yes Adoption fee: 400 for pair Good with Cats: Yes Good with Dogs: No other dogs in home, please.  Good with Kids: Yes. (Raine loves kids. Blossom is hesitant of everyone.)    *Special Requirements: Must be adopted together, with no other dogs in home.    *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member.
