Some dogs are deep thinkers. Some dogs are master strategists.GOOBER… is neither of those things. In fact, Goober may very well be the happiest, goofiest, most delightfully clueless dog you will ever meet. And honestly? We wouldn’t have him any other way! This 1.5-year-old pitbull/mix lives life with exactly two goals:1. Play.2. Receive affection like he’s never been loved before in his life!Goober approaches every moment with the enthusiasm of a dog who just discovered joy for the very first time. Toys? Incredible. People? Even better. A chance to zoom around like a certified goofball? The best day ever! His personality can best be described as “no thoughts, only happiness.” He’s the kind of dog who will run full speed toward you, forget why halfway there, and then just lean his entire body into you for pets. He’s goofy, wiggly, affectionate, and always ready to turn an ordinary moment into something hilarious.Goober is also a very high-energy dog who loves to run, play, and burn off his goofy enthusiasm. He’ll thrive in a home that can keep up with his fun-loving personality and give him plenty of opportunities for playtime and activity. Goober has shown positive interest towards other dogs at WCAS, suggesting he may do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed!Goober is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick & heartworm preventatives - all ready to go home!Come meet this lovable goofball - we promise he’ll steal your heart (and probably your personal space). Please fill out an adoption application on our website - for any additional information or questions, please contact the shelter at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com or (920) 279-9795.

Hello! Miss Mars here, already begging you for more attention! I absolutely love pets and scratches and cuddles. I’m a big ol’ couch hippo and I’d love to watch all of your favorite shows with you, especially if there’s going to be snackies. Give me something to chew on and I swear I won’t go for your shoes, pinky promise. Unless you leave me home alone, unkenneled, then I might have a little taste. What?! Don’t knock it until you try it! As much as I have enjoyed my time with my foster sister, I want to be the star so if you have another dog, it’s just not meant to be. Kitties are chill though! I’ve been in foster care for most of my life, and while I’ve loved my time with my foster fam, I’m really want to find my forever person. Come meet me and let’s play! I’ll even show you a trick or two! You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Mars D.O.B: 8/6/24 Breed: Bully Mix Sex: Female Weight: 49 lbs Altered: Yes Adoption Fee: 400 Good with cats: I don’t mind kitties! Good with dogs: I would do best in an only dog home. I’d love to be your one and only! Good with kids: Unknown Special Requirements: Only dog home. *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! Story
Hey! I’m Walter! I’ve been with Fetch for awhile now, and I’m STILL looking for my forever family. Let me reintroduce myself:   I’m a happy boy who likes to be a part of what’s going on. Whether we’re making dinner, you’re showering, or doing laundry - doesn’t matter to me as long as we’re together. I can supervise any project you got goin on! I am always excited to show you what I have. I am kennel/crate trained and I know to do my business outside! I’m strong, like you can tell I work out and all that. I know how to walk nicely on a leash but sometimes I seriously forget it’s even attached, this nose of mine is soooo powerful it’s crazy. I am special, my foster mom says it all the time. Just to make sure I get enough love and attention, it would be best if I am the only “good boy” in my forever home. I run like a graceful rhino and my white hair is so silky soft you won’t be able to resist loving on me. I have gotten myself into a couple situations and I really want to leave my troubled past behind me and move forward with people who get me. People who know tell me that I need structure and leadership: if you let me be the pack leader, I will take advantage of that situation.   I love training and learning, my foster mom is kick butt cool at it, she has lots more information for you since I am sooo special, so apply and let’s get this party started!   Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt   Name: Walter   Sex: Male   Breed: Pitbull/Basset Hound mix   Age: 4 years   Weight: 50 lbs   Current on vaccines: Yes   Altered: Yes   Microchipped: Yes   Adoption: 200   Good with Cats: No   Good with other Dogs: Prefers to be the only dog   Good with Kids: Possibly   *Special Requirements: Needs to be the only dog in the home.   *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. Story
Hi, I’m Frank — and playing is my game! I absolutely love everyone I meet, whether they have two legs or four. Animals, humans… if you exist, I’m probably excited to be your friend! I live with a young pup and we play all day, every day. There’s also an older gentleman in the house who prefers his space—I respect that—and a middle-aged lady who plays with me sometimes. I’m really good at reading her cues, if I do say so myself. I don’t want to brag, but I do great in a kennel. I’ll sleep in there at night if you insist… but cuddling with you would be my top choice. Cuddles are one of my favorite things (second only to playtime, of course). I have pretty good recall, though I can be a bit dopey at times and could use some continued practice. My foster mom has an underground fence, and I’ve done an excellent job respecting it—I’ve never crossed the line! I greet strangers with open paws and a big heart. I especially love having kiddos around to play with and snuggle. One thing I’m still working on is leash walking. I just get so excited when I see new people and dogs that my enthusiasm sometimes takes over—but with a little training and patience, I know I’ll get there. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, happy-go-lucky companion who’s full of affection and joy, I might just be your guy. **Side note: Frank has been to the vet regarding his cherry eyes. At this time, the vet doesn’t recommend another surgery to fix them. You can apply for Frank at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Frank D.O.B: 11/19/2024 Breed: Bully mix Sex: Male Weight: 49 lbs Altered: Yes Adoption Fee: 400 Good with kids: Yes, I enjoy kiddos Good with dogs: Yes, I love my doggie pals Good with cats: I've been good with those I've met!
