You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ____________________________________________________________ Coordinator: Carol Aulick COURTESY POST Instagram-worthy Lady is hoping to become the center of your universe! This sweetheart is loving and loyal, working-dog smart, and a fast learner. She’s dreaming of a forever home with a dog-savvy owner who is looking for a soul mate and willing to give her the best. For Lady, that means: No dogs/cats/young kids – This gal has some prey drive. She is not aggressive and has done well with all types of people. House-trained and nice household manners? Check and double check! Someone willing to commit to long-term separation anxiety meds and a sponsored behavioral consult to keep her thriving – In foster, she’s already made great progress! She willingly goes into her crate, sleeps perfectly in her crate all night, and is staying alone comfortably for increasing periods of time. She would love someone consistent who is home frequently, works from home, and/or can get a “Lady-sitter” while she continues to build independence. Chaotic households are a no thank you. And if you’re still reading this but are about to move on because of what pops into your head when you think of separation anxiety, please think twice. This girl is amazing. She’d be a foster fail if her foster family didn’t have a resident dog and cat.   Enrichment and exercise – One hundred percent, yes! Lady’s training and trick repertoire is growing quickly and food motivation makes her a joy to work with. She can be calm and settled, but she’s also FAST! Her heart is set on a yard, flirt pole, regular walks (currently three per day for a total of about 2-4 miles per day), hikes, and plenty of outdoor adventures. Car rides? No problem! She’s ready to be your partner in life wherever you go! And toys, games, and puzzles are the icing on the cake…though a cozy nap spot also rates highly!  :)   Regular veterinary care – Lady is already spayed, microchipped, DNA tested, up to date on vaccines and routine care, and fully vetted. If you’re her match, she just needs YOU!   Apply to adopt Lady at:  https://www.underdogrescueranch.com/adopt. Bitty Baby Burt - International Man of Mystery Okay, he’s actually not mysterious at all (other than his breed mix). This sweetie is funny, affectionate and super smart. After 24 hours in his Wisconsin foster home he’s had no accidents, has been polite and respectful and is enjoying the bustle of kids and family life.  This tiny, adorable guy turned up as a stray in Texas. The shelter was a scary place and our rescue partners got him out and to safety before he ultimately traveled north to us.  Burt is ready to grow up in his forever home. He’s equally cuddly and Tasmanian devil. So far he enjoys a good squeaky toy and a comfy lap or bed. He has kenneled quietly and is rocking potty training.  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fitNovember 29, 2025, 4:51 pm

Is your heart ready for a dog so lovely she could have inspired poetry? If it is… her name is OPHELIA, and she’s every bit as lovely as the name suggests. This 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier/mix might sound like she belongs in a Shakespeare play, but don’t be fooled - our Ophelia is pure comedy, not tragedy. She’s a goofy, affectionate girl who lives to make people laugh, wagging her tail like it’s her job and flashing that irresistible smile that could brighten anyone’s day!Ophelia’s beauty isn’t just skin-deep (though, seriously, have you seen her). She’s full of love, loyalty, and a zest for life that’s contagious. Whether she’s doing her silly zoomies, snuggling up for some one-on-one time, or greeting every new person like a long-lost friend, Ophelia brings joy wherever she goes!Ophelia would prefer a home all to herself - no other animals, please! Even though she’s incredibly social and loves meeting new people, she truly thrives as the one-and-only pet in the household where she can soak up all the love, attention, and spotlight she deserves.Ophelia is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and given a flea and tick preventative as well as a heartworm preventive. If you’re looking for a gorgeous goofball who’ll love you with her whole heart and keep you smiling every single day, Ophelia is ready to take center stage in your life! This sweet mama is searching for a quiet, cozy place to call her own and is ready for all the comforts of a forever home. Story
Our family is looking for that special someone to take our middle dog Amber. She is a pit mix and around 6 years old. With the exception being me she has not bit anyone. I may have tried to correct her getting into something and she made it to her kennel. More my mistake. She is a lover and cuddling is her favorite thing to do. If you don’t have any animals and your kids aren’t younger she would be a great fit. She is protective around her food and her kennel (safe place). She gets along with our dogs fine, but new dogs she does become uncomfortable for a while. Cats it depends on the day it’s more curiousity. She did get nervous when one was around her food dish. Older kids she is fine with younger kids we don’t leave unsupervised. We have two kids under 3 so our head is always on a swivel. It’s not fair for her to spend extra time in a kennel or our heated garage. We tried rehoming once and the person left her outside in a kennel. She is an inside dog. She dug out. We took her back.
