Story
We had Smokey since 5 weeks old. He likes to know whats going on and gets into boxes and packages that have been opened. Smokey enjoys his naps, but when He's active he likes to walk around and be with the family. Smokey is a house cat. He will watch what's going on and sometimes follow you, sit and relax.

Story
She was roaming around my neighborhood over the past few weeks. She’s very sweet but nervous/skittish on presentation. I can’t keep her because I already have a cat and my landlord only allows one cat. She gets along well with my cat, they eat next to each other and haven’t gotten into any tussles at all. (Granted, she did hiss a few times at first)

Story
Minnow was born homeless and living behind a restaurant in the woods. He was very dehydrated and underweight. We believe he wouldn't have lasted much longer, if he had not been rescued when he was. Minnow is currently being fostered in a home with other cats and dogs. He is litter box trained. He absolutely loves chasing the laser light , playing with all of his toys, and watching the birds outside the window. When he gets the zoomies, he likes to run through his cat tunnel as fast as he can back and forth. Minnow is very affectionate, comical, curious, and super smart. He would make a great addition to any family.

Story
Nala is a wonderful companion who loves sunbathing by the window or playing with feather toys. She is a gentle soul who enjoys a predictable routine and a quiet place to nap. While she is a great cat, we have realized that she is not comfortable in a house with children. The energy and noise of a busy family life are stressful for her, and she would be much happier in a calm, adult-only environment where she can be the center of attention (or just coexist peacefully). Ideal Match: We are looking for a quiet home (no young children) where she can feel safe and relaxed. She would be perfect for a single person or a couple looking for a low-maintenance, loving companion. She will come with all her toys, beds, tower, food, litter boxes and litter.

Story
Dahlia was adopted from Animal Rescue Rhode Island. She is currently 1 year old and 11 months. For her new home she has to be the only pet in the house due to her condition and the person must be able to financially support her ongoing eye treatment. Dahlia must be an in-house cat per the vet's recommendation. Dahlia was diagnosed with FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) in September and she needs to see an ophthalmologist for treatment. I been bringing her to EyeCare For Animals in Warwick to treat her eyes but due to her ongoing treatment it has become too much for me to support her financially. This was a difficult decision but we hope she finds a suitable home that can take care of her and love her. Dahlia is a sweet cat, loves to sit and cuddle with you sometimes. She is a bit shy at first and around strangers but she adjusts quickly. Doesn't mind being picked up to walk around the house and most of all likes to sleep on top of heated blankets.

Story
Simcha's owner passed unexpectedly, and he and a second cat needed a new home on short notice. We've homed him for about six months now and are very fond of him, but ultimately he's too expensive for us (I was laid off a year ago now; any cat would be a lot, but he's a senior cat with a couple medications). He also doesn't quite get along with the other younger cat, which can be stressful. He's a real sweetheart, spends most of his days curling up and following sunbeams, though he does like to bother someone for some brushing once in a while. He's a little rickety and seemed quite nervous and solitary when he first moved in, but he's warmed up considerably since we've gotten to know him, especially since we got him to a vet and started managing his arthritis (I don't think he had great care in his previous home). We love him, but it's difficult to fit him into our lives right now, and we'd love to find him a home where he fits perfectly.
