Story
Hi! We have had our sweet cat Rumor for about five years. She was a stray that we found her, when we believe she was about 1 or 2 years old. She is cuddly, smart, calm, and well behaved. But recently with long work hours, young children, and some (human) health issues we feel like we have not been able to give her the love and attention she deserves. She is very easy to take care of and hope you will give her a great home!

Story
Val is about 3 years old. I adopted her from The Humane Society in New Mexico. She has the most adorable meow. It's not what you would expect to come out of such a sweet little cat. She does not like to be picked up or held but she will sit in your lap if you are watching a movie and will lay ontop you while you sleep. She loves to sit in a window and watch the world go by. She seeks out the sun for a place to nap and also loves the warmth from the fireplace. She will entertain herself if you're too busy to play as she loves to chase her tail. She likes to follow me from room to room as she prefers to not be alone. She does get along with other cats but it takes a while. Most of her life she's lived with another cat but she's been able to rule the house on her own since February when her sister moved out with my son. I'll be traveling most of June and July and preparing to move in August. I feel it is too much to put her through to move across the country again.

Story
Sylvia was surrendered when her owner went into a nursing home and the family couldn't keep her. She's a senior cat and, common in older cats, Sylvia has mild chronic kidney disease (CKD). She also takes anti anxiety medication daily, mixed in with her food. You wouldn't know she's a senior cat though from the energy with which she plays with toys. She will seek you out for play time, pets, and to get brushed. She'll tell you when you stopped brushing her too soon. We're looking for an experienced adopter. She will need time and patience for her to get comfortable with you before you can see her sweet and playful side. https://forms.gle/ZfhWg4o7sdGHTcf56
