Story
This is Hiccup. He's almost 2 years old (I pretend his birthday is May 1st). I got him as a kitten and he really helped ease my anxiety with graduate school. He loves being around people, and he actually has some separation anxiety when left alone for periods of time. That's the reason I'm choosing to re-home him. I love him endlessly, but I work in-person 5 days a week and I know I'm not giving him the time and attention he deserves. He really is the sweetest, dorkiest thing. His favorite toys are pom poms and pipe cleaners. He behaves more like a dog than a cat. He comes when I call his name and races to the door when I get home to greet me with some meows and cuddles. I'm looking for families/people who work from home to help him with his anxiety. He will come with all his toys, a cat tree, scratching post, litter box, and automatic feeder. All free to a good home. Hiccup loves his person, and I'm sure he will give his next person as much comfort, laughs, and love as he did me.

Story
Sylvia was surrendered when her owner went into a nursing home and the family couldn't keep her. She's a senior cat and, common in older cats, Sylvia has mild chronic kidney disease (CKD). She also takes anti anxiety medication daily, mixed in with her food. You wouldn't know she's a senior cat though from the energy with which she plays with toys. She will seek you out for play time, pets, and to get brushed. She'll tell you when you stopped brushing her too soon. We're looking for an experienced adopter. She will need time and patience for her to get comfortable with you before you can see her sweet and playful side. https://forms.gle/ZfhWg4o7sdGHTcf56

Story
Val is about 3 years old. I adopted her from The Humane Society in New Mexico. She has the most adorable meow. It's not what you would expect to come out of such a sweet little cat. She does not like to be picked up or held but she will sit in your lap if you are watching a movie and will lay ontop you while you sleep. She loves to sit in a window and watch the world go by. She seeks out the sun for a place to nap and also loves the warmth from the fireplace. She will entertain herself if you're too busy to play as she loves to chase her tail. She likes to follow me from room to room as she prefers to not be alone. She does get along with other cats but it takes a while. Most of her life she's lived with another cat but she's been able to rule the house on her own since February when her sister moved out with my son. I'll be traveling most of June and July and preparing to move in August. I feel it is too much to put her through to move across the country again.

Story
He’s extremely friendly and loving. Always loves to sit on your lap and get a good scratch. He will also sleep on top of you till you move too much, then he’ll move. Dry food only. Will not eat wet. He’s indoor, and outdoor, and grew up on a farm here in town. He also loves outdoor animals and loves them too. If he kills a mouse, it was because the mouse was scared to death, lol. I’m 64 and recently broke my ankle, and non weight bearing still. I can’t keep getting up to let him in and out constantly. He was left alone while I was in the hospital and rehab, with maintenance guy checking his food and water daily. Neighbors constantly complained that he howled when he wanted in or out, and I’m only on beginning stages of recovery with ongoing surgeries in the future still to go through. Please love him, because he’s truly a sweet boy!

Story
Her name is Jersey . She is a is a very quiet, independent cat. She loves to play around the house. She also enjoys watching TV or any games you provide for her on the tablet. She loves the lights in the house. She hates noises in the house, so you are more than likely to see her run away to hide. Jersey is very noisy; she will be at the windows watching everything that is happening outside. She hates wet meals over dry meals, but I stick with dry ones because it's more safe. Jersey is very kind; she will go around the house with you to protect you. She knows how to welcome people into the house. Super cute and exciting cat. Dry meals work best. She loves toys. Please take care of her. She came from New Jersey, where she used to be mistreated until she starved. I took her to be her best mom in the world, but with my schedule, I won't have enough time to show her the affection she deserves, and I want to trust someone with a big heart to love her and accept all of her fl

Story
I am Moonbeam a quiet settled guy of 10+ yrs. I tend to lay low during the day and am more active in the evening especially dinner time. I was shy when I first arrived at my foster home which includes 3 other cats from young to older than me. I'm not a huggy kissy guy - ew! but I will come for regular pets and visits, I'm being treated for my thyroid which is not unusual at my age. I take my liquid meds fine with my meal. I'm happy with Fancy Feast Turkey flavors and little dry food too. I'd best in a quiet house, where I can settle in to my routine and not be started by loud noise.. Older kids and other cats are fine as long as they are kind and can give me a bit pf space.
