Story
Meet Yari, an affectionate, loving kitty living outside in a colony with other cats. She's so friendly and trusting of humans that she probably didn't grow up outside. When the colony caretaker first saw her, Yari was very hungry and way too skinny. Even so, she didn't mind sharing her food with her colony kitty friend Autumn, who is also available for adoption. Yari has gained at least three pounds in the last three to four months. Needless to say, no one was looking for this sweet girl. Yari deserves a home with someone who will show her what it's like to live the good life indoors, with the love and care she needs. She'd love a soft, warm place to sleep, good food, clean water, and plenty of scratches and pets! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Yari. She's in the KC metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Mercutio was a feral cat we started feeding last spring. He used to run away every time we opened the door but he slowly warmed up to us and now wants play and cuddles. He recently decided he doesn't want to be an outdoor kitty anymore and we are fostering him. He loves ear scratches, playing with his toys, and catnip mouses. He is also becoming a lap kitty and enjoys laying with you making air biscuits.

Story
Tali is a 2 year old affectionate, excitable, active girl. I adopted her through KC Pet Project a few months ago after falling in love with her at a Petco. Her big green eyes, curious nature, and immediate desire to rub up against me and receive endless pets won me over. Sadly, after a long and careful introduction to my other cats, she started to corner my 15 year old cat causing her a lot of anxiety. I felt immensely guilty for the stress this situation put on the cat I've had for nearly half my life. This led to the very hard decision to rehome Tali. Tali absolutely loves people. She'll run up to anyone and demand hard pets and will eventually collapse in your lap if you let her. She's curious, food-motivated, playful, and so darn loving. She'd make an excellent only pet and I wouldn't be surprised if she did well with dogs or potentially boy cats. It was my mistake to have 3 girl cats (3 calicos at that). Bonus fun: I've taught her how to sit and beg (meerkat) for treats!

Story
Tilly’s story began in an Oakland, CA dumpster, where he was rescued as a tiny kitten and bottle-fed with love. His name, short for Matilda, was given when he was mistaken for a girl—but it suits his sweet, gentle nature perfectly! Tilly is a big boy who loves sleeping at the foot of the bed but would be even happier cuddled in your arms. He’s very affectionate and shares an unbreakable bond with his baby sister, Belle—they’re inseparable and would thrive in a home together. Tilly loves chasing kibble tosses for exercise and has a special talent for singing back and forth with his humans. While he’s a bit shy with new people, he quickly warms up and is great with kids, dogs, and other cats. Our hearts are broken that we can’t take him on our move to Paris, but we’re hopeful to find a loving home where he can continue to bring joy and companionship. Could this sweet, easygoing boy (and his sister Belle!) be the perfect addition to your family?

Story
I took in this silly stray about 4 months ago in july, and he's been a great cat. He's chill around people, LOVES attention, and handles my younger siblings and dogs without much concern. My main issue is that he keeps has way too much energy for my older cat and they keep fighting. He would do amazing with another male cat, but me and my family just don't have the time or energy to keep up with him. He will be neutered on December 11th, so im holding off adoption until then, but if you take an interest in this little man please let me know. He's very cuddly and will play until he falls asleep. He doesn't chew wires but he does have his claws so you will need to keep an eye on that.
