Story
Frankie was rescued by a friend at the Lake of the ozark. He is approximately 9 years old. My mom and dad took him in for several years before they passed. Dad recently passed this year. Frankie does best with a family without other pets, but would do ok with a larger dog. He has a special Urinary diet, and could stand to lose a few pounds. He is playful and loves to be under sheets and covers, He uses his scratching post. He’s an indoor cat but loves to go out on a deck to watch the birds. At times he can become overstimulated while getting petted, Frankie does best being the only pet, with a family that understands his quirks. We would love to keep him but we already have four cats a dog a bearded dragon and a water turtle. He likes to snuggle in blankets for a time with his owner. He’s a faithful companion. He will be missed.

Story
Mama Mo is a sweet cat- she has lived a tough life outdoors after her owners moved away. She was a good mama to her kittens (all adopted and loving their new homes)! She is learning to trust people again- and can sometimes be a little spicy if you pet her past her allotted timespan (which only she is privy to).  She had a brief stint at Whisker Station, but that wasn't her jam- she was not at all aggressive with the other cats but prefers a quieter more laid back vibe. So now she is back with us in her favorite chair! She deserves the absolute best- a family (without young kids) that really understands and appreciates cat behavior as she does have a few quirks! I think she would be fine with non-aggressive dogs or cats. She is pretty much ignores the other animals in our home- a dog and 3 other cats.  Mo loves to be brushed and pet, but does not enjoy if you put your face close to her. She will let you know about it! Reach out if you would like more information on Mo! It is definitely worthwhile gaining her trust- she is a special kitty and deserves a special family of her own!May 6, 2024, 10:03 pm

Story
I’m looking for a loving home for my buddy, Jango. I’ve had Jango for almost 11 years, since he was a kitten. My wife and I have combined pet families and unfortunately Jango just doesn’t fit in well with the group. He has picked out my wife’s best friend as a target and relentlessly stalks him. He doesn’t want to be close to most of the other pets, is a bit of a loner and would probably be happiest in a home with a female cat or as a solo cat getting a ton of attention. He was happiest when it was just me and him and one other cat, and he could have all of the attention and bed space he wanted. He is just too skittish and standoffish for our now larger pet family and would be happier in a different environment. He’s been inside his entire life and after initial shots I haven’t kept on them as regularly as maybe preferable. He’s never had any health issues, is litter trained and stays off of counters and tables. He’s a good boy. He’d love to game or read with you for hours.

Story
If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic, tummy-rub loving best friend, Momo’s the girl for you. She’s lived in homes with other cats before and gets along great, just wants to cuddle and play. Hasn’t been around dogs or kids yet, but she’s not shy and I would think she would do great with either. She loves catnip toys and will have full conversations with you. Has not been spayed yet, but is fully litterbox-trained. She’s very curious and will run up to see what you’re doing before flopping over purring asking for pets.
