Story
Chewie is truly a one of a kind, laid-back, intelligent, and delightfully curious kitten who is always ready for a little fun. If you're looking for a gentle companion who brings joy without the chaos, Chewie might just be your perfect match. Chewie is the daughter of our beloved community cat Roxie (also up for adoption- she has been domesticated), and while they'd love to stay together, both adapt well to new environments. Born indoors on April 19, 2025, Chewie has known love and stability from day one. Because she grew up beside her mother, she's extremely well adjusted and amazingly, she never scratches or bites during play. Ever! (I know, it surprises us too!) Named for her adorable resemblance to Chewbacca from Star Wars, Chewie is sweet, social, and ready to settle into a loving home. If you're looking for a gentle, snuggly soft companion, look no further- Chewie is ready to meet you!

Story
We live in the country and cats have been showing up at our house. We started feeding them so they wouldn't starve. We have indoor cats so they cannot come in our house. They are not afraid of our dogs, but they are driving our dogs crazy when they see the cats on the walkway outside the fence. It is creating tension between the dogs. These cats are friendly. The solid black one LOVES to be petted and lays in your lap. She follows us everywhere! So SWEET!!! They both deserve better than living outside in the cold. We have cared for them for a while but with the issues their presence creates for the dogs they absolutely must find a home! I do not want to take them to the shelter but if I can't find an adopter, I may have no other choice. The little black one would love to lay in your lap while you read or watch TV. And she purrs so loud! Please consider adopting one of these kitties. They are already spayed!

Story
I have had Harry and brother since he was 3 1/2 mos old; he's now 7 1/2 yrs. I adopted them from someone who had taken in a stray cat who then had kittens. Harry was very close to brother. But trouble started when we moved from town house to apartment. We have now moved to a smaller 1-bedroom apartment and Harry has become aggressive toward Will -- a territorial issue? After 6 mos, the problem continues. Harry is healthy; his favorite game is making the bed and pieces of paper and pulling drawstrings on pants. He purrs for attention; he loves sitting in a lap while grooming and petting and snuggling. He loves lying on feet to sleep on bed. I think he will be a wonderful cat in a home with NO OTHER cats. He may be shy at beginning but warms up with regular food and attention.

Story
I got Hendrix when she was about eight months old from my daughter. She was not getting along with my daughter‘s dogs. She’s very sweet, but she can also be very sassy. She seems to get along fine with male cats. She is not getting along with my other female cat currently. She used to I don’t know what happened. They growl and fight. She’s not living her best life as she’s always seems to be on guard. She has started to pee outside the litter box I believe because of the conflict. She has been checked medically, and there are no issues. The vet has cleared her. She likes to sleep with me and she likes being pet and cuddled, but on her own terms.

Story
Emmy was adopted as a kitten from a home caring for many stray cats. She was the adorable runt with big, silent eyes, and a cute squeak; I fell in love right away. Emmy is a very quirky cat. She has a shrill meow. When she’s hungry, she makes a cartoonish teething sound while rubbing her face against a corner. She shows her affection via vibrating and moving, and doesn’t tend to stay still or lie in laps for long. She stares at ceilings for long periods of time randomly. She has no curiosity for the outdoors whatsoever. She does have some normal cat things: the zoomies, exploring boxes, catnip, hiding under beds, being on a tall cat tree, etc. As Embyr’s gotten older, she’s struggled more and more to acclimate to other cats both previously existing in and newer to the home. It’s gotten to the point where we hope to rehome her. We believe she would be a great companion as a single cat.

Story
Moostachi is a 5 year old, gray cat with white markings, including two on her nose that make her look like she has a mustache (hence the name). She lives in a house with two other cats and a dog. She is extremely shy of strangers. She had a human companion who could get her to come out for attention. Unfortunately, her human companion passed away, and she needs a new home. She is a healthy, vaccinated cat - no medical issues that we know of. She would be too skittish to be a companion for young children, but she is not aggressive and has never scratched anyone. She needs a house with a comfortable refuge for whenever others are around. The perfect home for her would be a quiet household with people interested in cultivating Moostachi's friendship.
