Story
My cat is 3 years old. Is an indoor outdoor cat. She is very skittish. She can be very demanding when she wants to go outside. She will bite my ankle but not hard. She tries to play with my daughter's little dog when they come over but the dog does not like playing with her. She likes to play fetch. Likes to sleep at the foot of my bed. Still tries to claw at furniture but does use her scratching pad. Occasionally she will sleep on my lap. She has loss several collars because she goes up in trees. She is very smart. Has opened up cupboard doors to get her treats. She love to play hide & seek. When I'm outside she runs around showing off. I think she would do well with a single male with maybe a dog? She loves to be outside during the day & doesn't seem to be a hunter. She likes wet pate & dry food.

Story
Ellie loves every person she's ever met. Her happy place is curled up on your lap, on the back of the sofa near you, or in bed next to your pillow. Our nick-name for her is "little meeper" because rather than a meow, she makes little meeps when she's trying to get your attention. She'll also reach out with her right paw and tap you. Her favorite toys are little stuffed mice and a ribbon wand. She likes to scratch on the sisal pole of her cat tree and cardboard scratchers As a lifelong indoor kitty, she's not an escape artist. And she's a surprisingly good mouser. Ellie is great with dogs. She's good with children who know how to behave with animals and isn't frightened by them being their energetic selves. Ellie has always lived with a dog and plays with our current dog. She has always had someone home with her so a home with someone in the house most of the time would be best. Ellie does not get along with other cats.

Story
Pepper is an indoor cat currently. She is super friendly, she is sweet, she is litter box trained, she has no behavioral issues. She gets along with other cats. It took her one day to get used to my current cat. She has not lived with a dog. I think she would adjust to living with a dog once she figured out the dog was friendly.   She hasn't lived with kids. Peppers was a stray and I am trying to find a home for her. She has been living in my house until I can find her her best forever home. I took her to the vet on May 15th and had a normal exam and blood work tests done. She tested positive for FIV, Negative for FeLV (leukemia).  She has recently been spayed.      She would make someone very happy. She is loving, and friendly. She loves to play with string. She is respectful of my house and my furniture. She uses a cardboard scratch box. unfortunately, I cannot keep her because I have a roommate who is moving and her cat has had FIP, and is currently in remission after months of shots. (I cannot risk Pepper biting her cat although she has never showed signs of aggression towards my current cat.)  She gets along well with cats, she is docile. It just is a risk my roommate can't take with her cat who has recently gone through with treatment for FIP. If I didn't have another cat at risk I would keep her.  Pepper is indoor only.  Her adoption fee is $50.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. Story
Hi- Emma has a sweet story. She has been a senior woman’s companion for the past 11 years. She was adopted as a tiny kitten and socialized with toddlers and dogs, but after her second year, she lived alone with her human. Sadly, her mom is in a Sr. Care facility and her toddlers are now teenagers. She absolutely loves our human family but is being terrorized by our 3 year old Siamese/Ragdoll and so we think should be happier as a single cat/animal home. Emma would love nothing better than to have lap time can cuddle time in a quiet environment without having to worry about other pets. We hope someone would be just the right fit. She is spade and had shots for the first few years when she lived with us, but since living alone with her companion, I don’t know how much follow up she’s had.

Story
Buddy is a 13 year old Silver Tabby American Shorthair. We have had him since a kitten and he is a lover boy. He loves to cuddle, nap in the sun, purr loud and proud, eat, and to sleep as close as possible to his humans. Our living arrangements have changed and we sadly won't be able to take him with us. Buddy is used to living with 2 dogs. He does not do well with other cats. We recently had his senior kitty vet check up and other than missing several teeth (dental procedure 2 years ago), and kitty arthritis, he is very healthy.

Story
Walter is a sweet, playful guy. He's a great nap partner and movie watching companion. He's very athletic when the feather toy comes out and likes a good sprint through the house every now and then. Otherwise, he's happy on the couch next to you or on a cozy chair. He tolerates nail trims and loves to be brushed. The only thing he doesn't like are other pets in the house, unfortunately. He needs to be the only pet. He's easy going and very loving.

Story
Sherlock was my Landlords cat. He is selling the house and has already moved to the philippines. Sherlock has a brother that I adopted and I felt sorry for Sherlock so I told my land lord he could stay here until the house sold. He is 9 years old and very effectionate. He likes belly rubs and is an indoor/outdoor cat. He was indoor/outdoor cat until my landlord retired to the philippines and has been and outdoor cat for the last 2 months. He is adaptable to being indoor, outdoor or both. He just needs a good loving home. He is potty trained, house broken, has all his shots and is fixed. He is a people person. He loves people, and us good with other pets as well. He just needs a good loving home.
