Story
Flounder is about 2.5 years old and is both active and a loving cuddle bug. She loves to run around and play and then snuggle up. Happy to be picked up and carried around the house and may do well on a leash. She gets along well with the other cat in the house and would probably enjoy your other pets. Has never acted aggressive and is compliant with going to the vet, getting her claws clipped, or getting medicine. She is in great health and has never had any issues using the litter box. She needs a home where she can get a good amount of attention and playtime. I am sad to rehome her but she has a tendency to get into trouble and I can't keep up with her (opening cupboards, chewing on things). It can take her a bit of time to warm up to new people, but she is really such a sweetie.

Story
My daughter's cat had a kitten. I agreed to take it. My existing cat is not happy or getting used to him. My adult daughter who lives with me and is on the autism spectrum , is not getting used to him. We've had him for 3 weeks. He is a feisty little thing but has already learned to behave with me. He loves cuddling right up close to your face. I wish he could stay. We have been calling him Sam but he doesnt know his name yet.

Phoebe is tiny but mighty, for now. She loves playing with mice and chasing her littermates. Visitors fall in love right away! She is spunky and funny and lets you know what she wants, especially if you stop petting her. Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo.

Story
Hi there! My name is Fish, and I’m a laid-back tuxedo kitty with a heart full of love. I might seem a little shy at first, but once you get to know me, I’ll be your most loyal, affectionate companion. I’m perfect for anyone looking for a super chill cat who enjoys quiet moments and lots of love. I may not be as playful as some of my kitten friends, but I make up for it with my calm, gentle nature. All I need is a cozy spot and a kind owner who’s ready to share some extra love and attention. If you’re looking for a relaxed, easygoing friend, I’m the one for you! Bring me home and let’s share a lifetime of love!
