Story
Meet Sammy — A Gentle Soul Looking for a New Beginning at a quiet home Sammy is a 1-year-old neutered boy, healthy and ready for his next chapter. He has tested negative for FIP, FeLV, and FIV, so he’s in great shape and all set for a fresh start. This sweet young cat recently lost his owner and he is still adjusting to the change. Because of his recent loss he would do best as an only cat at first, giving him a chance to settle in. Sammy is affectionate, friendly and still has that young-cat playfulness. What he needs most now is a calm, loving home where can heal and blossom. If you’re looking for a wonderful companion with a big heart and a gentle spirit, Sammy might be your perfect match. Open your home to Sammy and give him the second chance he’s waiting for. Please contact Sandi Sandi 512-779-3278, Kingsland. Minimum donation of $60 applies representing a portion of the cost of his veterinary care and food.

Story
Ginger is a sweet little survivor looking for her forever home. She’s 2 years old and grew up with her sister Mary Ann, so she’s very used to sharing her space and playing gently with other cats and even dogs. She loves having furry friends around and does really well in a home with other animals. A few months ago, Ginger lived through a house fire, but you’d never know it from her spirit. She bounced back quickly, has no known medical issues, and has kept her gentle, affectionate nature. She adores being petted, will happily soak up attention from anyone kind. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient companion who just wants a calm, safe place and a person to curl up with, Ginger would be a wonderful addition to your home.

Story
Hi! My name is Tinker Bell, but my foster mum calls me Tink (like Peter Pan did in the movie). I'm a short-haired kitten with brown tabby markings & green/gold eyes. I was surrendered to my foster mom (thru no fault of mine) when my previous family was unable to care for me. Now I would like to find a fyrever with someone who is nice & will play with me as much as possible as I am still a kitten. I have been to the vet and he says I am 8 months old - est. DOB 3/4/24. I have been spayed and have all my shots. My rabies vaccination is current & my foster mom has a spay certificate for me. My FIV/Leukemia test was negative. YAY!! My ideal furever home would be with someone who has a cat friendly dog that will play with me. I think I would be okay with another cat, my foster mom.has several but I'm separated from them because they don't like to play. I'm very active, remember I am still a kitten and sometimes I play rough as I dont.have another friend to play with. My previous family had a dog (approx. 40 lbs) that I played with. I also play with toys and definitely need a good scratching post and maybe a cat tree too. I have been inside since living with my foster mom so I really need to continue to do so. I didn't like it outside- I got wet and cold also other things (animals) that scared me. It's nice to have my own space so I feel safe and comfortable. Do you want to be my new pet parent? Can you give me the love, attention and treats all the time? If so I would love to meet you. Please contact Sandi 512-779-3278 in Kingsland. Minimum donation of $100 applies, representing a portion of the cost of her veterinary care and food

Story
HEIDI IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME. SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL RARE SHORT-HAIR ORANGE TABBY AND IS APPROXIMATELY 11 YEARS OLD. We took her in after her owner passed away. Sadly, we are unable to bring her into our home with us due to allergies. While we have tried to keep her safe and comfortable (she does really love her Catio) we think she would be so much happier in a home that can give her the attention and companionship she deserves. Heidi is a little shy at first, but she really warms up fast and has a super sweet personality. We are hoping to find her a better life. Please text or call Sandi 512-779-3278, Dripping Springs. Minimum donation of $50 applies representing a portion of the cost of my veterinary care and food.

Story
This is what the Forgotten Felines foster mum says: 'From the cruel streets of Temple, Harvey showed up on my porch, starving, bleeding, covered in bites and fleas and really needing help. A needed rescue if ever there was one. He received care, lots of nourishing food, was neutered and entered into my home with my personal cats and the occasional stray or foster. He was hilarious and highly entertaining. And then I noticed that one of his eyes was trying to cloud. I gave him medicine for a month and it didn't clear. The vets said he still had vision but it was likely permanent clouding. Then he looked at me one day and had developed nystagmus, or zigzag eye. Fortunately, he has no coordination issues, no vestibular problems or head tilt. But, it did seem to cause a change in his interactions with my cats. He showed that he didn't want to be around other cats, especially at night and begged to go out. He looks out the window and becomes very agitated and clearly wants out. He also becomes overstimulated around my cats and shows that he just wants to be the only kitty. Who knows what he went through as a stray, but his behavior did change when his eye became clouded. He really needs to have his own kingdom. Thus, in his best interest, Harvey's perfect home would be with adults only, no dogs and likely a mostly outdoor life. He loves to stay on guard and remain on high alert. He has proved to be an excellent mouser and does have a taste for dove. He is a good boy, only about 2 years and deserves to have his own private family of hoomans and a safe place to guard the fort, possibly with a garage or barn at first. He can come inside, after he gets comfortable. The main criterion is no other cats. He just cannot handle it. I will include a cat house and a low wattage heating pad. He doesn't like the cold. If you want a laugh a minute, street smart, goofy wild eyed child, Harvey is your guy. He is a head butting, high fiving, in your face pirate king. He just needs a place to decompress and be himself, on his terms. Can you make room for the once and future king Harvey of Temple? He is a real hoot. Thank you!" Please contact Sandi 512-7779-3278. Harvey has a sponsor so no adoption fee is required. Donations would be appreciated but are not necessary.
