Story
Endearing, Reserved, Curious Please say "hello" to Shwhiskers, a beautiful orange & white tabby looking for a forever home to call her very own. Shwhiskers can be shy and cautious in new situations and around new people. However, with the encouragement and the space to work on her comfort level, she will soon reveal her true purrsonality! Shwhiskers has a goofy side that she displays in a variety of ways. When she's feeling happy, she flops on her back and rolls around almost as if she can't control her excitement. Another delightful quirk of this cute kitty is her advanced biscuit-making skills. She maintains a dedication to her craft of kneading that is honestly admirable and will make you want to crown her "The Queen of Biscuits." Shwhiskers doesn't have any particular favorite toys, but that just means she gets to enjoy all of them! She loves playing with boxes and especially likes that they can double as lounge spots. One of her most common forms of play is simply running around. You'll get used to seeing orange and white flashes from the corners of your eyes when Shwhiskers gets a case of the zoomies. And, although her zooms have no particular destination, this is one curious girl who likes finding little spots to make her own. Her current favorite hangout is under the bed. It gives her the space she requires while still letting her know what's going on around her. Whether emerging from her under-the-bed hideout or after a session of zoomies, Shwhiskers often becomes incredibly affectionate. She'll curl up against you and will accept pets and snuggles. Her vocalizations are similarly mellow with bursts of intense meows. Shwhiskers is basically a girl who knows what she wants and when and how she wants it and lives her life accordingly. You would be so very lucky to be along for the ride. Ready to welcome a silly girl into a loving home? Contact us about Shwhiskers today! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. Honeycake purrs when you pet him, and loves being with his people! He’ll be the first to greet you, and when you sit down, you will have this sweet treat in your lap! Honeycake seems to have things to say, and likes to chat with you. Nothing is cuter than Honeycake chatting you up! If Honeycake sees that his favorite people are petting another kitten, he will push his way up to the front of the line as if to say, “Me me me, please!” He was bashful when he met some kids, but warmed up once he got used to being around them. Story
Gorgeous! Cream-colored, with tabby markings and splashes of bright orange. Enchanting green eyes, and whiskers that go from there to back again! Soft purr, small body, big personality! Her name, Taika, is Maori for "tiger". Taika is a cautious adventurer. She's interested in exploring new spaces but takes her time to see it all. Taika was an excellent mama to her 4 kittens and is now living her own best life and ready for someme-time. She loves affection and will ask for pets with a soft meow, then rub up against her human. Taika hasn't walked into a lap, but she's stayed there, content, when picked up and placed there. Initially shy, once she gets to know you, Taika is a gentle and affectionate companion. She has excellent manners with food and litter boxes and uses her scratching post. Her meows for attention and purrs for appreciation are soft and sweet. She does not, however, like to be in a carrier, and will protest. But open the carrier door and she’s over it. Taika became great friends with her foster-friend, a 2-yr old male cat. She was less happy with other female cats in her foster home. Taika would thrive as a single cat in a quieter household or with older, gentle kids, or another calm and chill kitty (probably male). If you are ready to bring home a beautiful and peaceful companion, who appreciates your attention without a lot of fuss, then Taika is ready too.June 16, 2025, 5:07 pm

Story
Jackie is about 10 years old and he was brought home from a veterinary clinic in north Austin when he was a kitten. We are moving homes and sadly he can no longer stay with us, so we are looking for a good place to rehome him. A little bit about Jackie; he is so sweet and calm. He is declawed, but only on his front paws, and he loves to go outside and play. He is completely healthy and full of life! He can be vocal at times (when he gets the zoomies or wants attention) but for the most part, he is quiet and honestly a little shy. Jackie absolutely loves scratching posts and catnip!! Please reach out if you are interested in taking Jackie in, we are trying to find something soon as we are moving next month!

I’m a quiet guy. That means you better come find me because I’m probably into something. There’s so much to explore! I like to sleep beside you and watch you work, though I’m told I can’t sit right in front of the monitor. My sister and I would love to explore every inch of your house. Can we? ##1968371##
