Story
Donna is gorgeous and she loves a good conversation! She makes great eye contact, and listens carefully. She wants to please, and she's not a cat to ignore you or pretend she doesn't care. She cares! Donna will bond with you and see you as her protector and friend. She enjoys being petted and given attention.  She was assaulted by a cat years ago and is still wary. She has a private room here and we would like her to be an only cat or to have lots of space and her own eating area.  Donna was born in 2014 but doesn't look her age!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://rappcats.org/adoptions/ Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org.      April 29, 2024, 1:52 am

Story
Hello there, I'm Cookie! My days are filled with play and sweet cuddles. I'm gentle and a bit shy, but once I get to know you, we'll be the best of friends. I've got a playful spirit and a heart full of love to give. I'm not just a cat, I'm a companion, a friend, and a confidante. I've been through some tough times, but I never let it dull my spirit. I'm ready for a new chapter, one filled with love, warmth, and lots of playtime. If you're looking for a friend who'll stick by you through thick and thin, who'll listen to you without judgement, and who'll bring a ray of sunshine into your life, then I'm your girl. Adopt me, and let's start this beautiful journey together. Please reach out if you are interested in fostering Cookie. And apply to adopt here: https://form.jotform.com/240357683837164

Story
Lulu was adpted from a local animal shelter when she was around 6 months old. She was born in 2015 so now she is 9 years old. She is neutered. She is such a friendly cat who wants to snuggle with everyone. I mean EVERYONE! Her love language is touch. She loves to be petted. She never ever hurted me or anybody in my family, never hissing, never scratching someone. If you play too rough with her especially around her belly, she gets too stimulated and may grab you by being playful. Just don't do that, be gentle with her. She is such a princess and wants to be in the center of attention all the time.

Story
Lala is such a cutie. He is very sweet and will come sit next to you. He likes to be on your lap and be petted. He is also very cautious. He needs time in a new environment; maybe a few hours. We have moved several times, but he adjusted very well. One thing he is just not able to adjust is with kids. He is okay with infants, but with toddlers he gets scared and does not get along with them. In 9 years with Lala, I never saw him hissing unless a handful times when he was playing with my other cat. He never hurts or scratches me or any other members in my family. He can get rough with his adoptive sibling cat when playing and needs to be reminded to play gentle. However, it never caused me to be worried enought to separate the cats. Lala is a sweet cat and always craves for lots of love and attention.
